About this tournament

In its first year, the Mad Pelican Open brings competitive disc golf back to Lake Walcott in the spring. The meaning behind the name is two fold. It pays homage to the original events held at Lake Walcott at the turn of the millenium. The Lake Walcott Open ran by the Portneuf Valley Disc Golf Club with the pelican logo were the first events held here. The "mad" part of the name speaks to the changes you will see on course compared to what you are used to playing at Lake Walcott. 2 Rounds of 24 Holes with a 120 player cap. This is the 2nd event of the 2017 Infinite Discs Snake River Series and will feature the SRS V.I.P. tent, SRS Super Ace Pot, and 50/50 E.D.G.E. Charity CTP. Registration opens March 17th
