A great day of disc golf in adverse weather. A lull meant rain and little wind. Near the end of round 2, the Monsoon hits!! Sideways rain and sideways disc's made for an interesting day. Thanks to Terry Shuler for the toughest open 5 holes in disc golf. Open, long and OB's a plenty. Congrats to all the division winners and to everybody who stayed for both rounds...YOU CATS ROCK!! Course Update: I've decided to change the course a little bit. Don't see any relief from wetness. So to make things run smother and a little quicker I've made a couple changes. Mostly do to non tee pad tees. The paths and the one dirt tee. So it will go like this. We will play the regular 12 hole course plus the 5 field holes that have been posted. After the 5th field hole you will play a hole off the sidewalk by the road up to a portable basket near covered area. On and over path/road will be OB. tables will also be OB. OB from tee box will be a re-tee. So holes 1-6 will be holes 1-6 then holes 7-12 will be the 5 field holes and the added hole in the park. Then holes 13-18 will be holes 7-12. That will make things simpler and faster. Also if basket 3 is under water I will put a portable up the hill behind tree on short of basket on left.

Will there be any power at Tourney Central to plug in a crock pot of Chili?? I cant bring alot but something warm to eat between rounds might be ok. If anybody else has a Lunch offering, sound off and ... show more ›

Will there be any power at Tourney Central to plug in a crock pot of Chili?? I cant bring alot but something warm to eat between rounds might be ok. If anybody else has a Lunch offering, sound off and lets get an impromptu Lunch Buffet going to ward off the possibility, however slight, that it may..I said MAY...be a wee bit wet and chilly tommorrow. OB's for all holes. All paved/concrete surfaces, water, 6 foot 6 or above, out of park or field boundary, man hole covers, bridges, benches, inside play area
Footage is rough estimate but should be fairly close.
Hole 1: Hole 1 302 feet par 3.
Hole 2: Hole 2. On or over road deep, in or over creek(bed) right OB. 288 feet par 3.
Hole 3: Hole 3: In or over creek(bed) right, on or over path left OB. 241 feet par 3.
Hole 4: Tee pad 4 to basket 8. In and over creek(bed) left OB. 465 feet par 3.
Hole 5: Tee off path near tee pad 6 and basket 5 to basket 4. Mando left of marked tree. Drop zone next to tree. In and over creek(bed) OB. On or over path, road OB. Past OB line at end of creek between creek and road. 290 feet par 3.
Hole 6: Hole 5. Right of road up to path and right of path OB. OB line from fence to road by street sign. 356 feet par 3.
Hole 7. Hole 6. OB line left between fences. 345 feet par 3.
Cross street to school yard and go right past red shed. next tee pad just beyond red shed.
Added OB's for field area. Green plastic water valve covers. On top of anything not grass or dirt. Benches, trash cans, poles, man hole covers, long jump run way and sand area, INSIDE GATED BASEBALL FIELD. DO NOT RETRIEVE DISC FROM INSIDE FIELD. HAVE A BALL PLAYER OR ME AT BREAK
Hole 8. Tee off pad in front of red shed to portable basket at corner of tennis courts by fence. On and inside track OB. Over fence right OB. Tennis court has concrete edge. Watch out. 515 feet par 4.
Hole 9: Tee off behind big padded square behind goal posts on blacktop to portable basket left of two big trees at parking lot entrance just in front of sidewalk. Must land outside of track on drive. Drop zone on track near edge of tennis courts by tree. On and over sidewalk OB. 480 feet par 3.
Hole 10: Tee off sidewalk in front of main gym doors to portable basket by right of goal posts by last tee. 545 feet par 4.
Hole 11: Tee off track even with goal post line by fence to portable basket over hill by small tree by road near corner of gym. Mando right of right goal post near white pole. Drop zone next to goal post. Mando right of big tree across track in front of hill. drop zone next to tree. 618 feet par 4.
Hole 12: Tee off track near white pole to portable basket at corner of field area by last tree in line near 4 way stop. Mando left of practice field back stop. Drop zone next to corner of back stop. On or inside track OB. Inside gated ball field OB. Practice field in field dirt area OB. plastic water valve covers OB. Man hole covers OB. 645 feet par 4.
Go back to the park. Next hole is regular hole 7.
Hole 13: Hole 7. 221 feet par 3.
Hole 14: Tee off path between play area and covered area to basket 9. Mando right of marked tree. Drop zone next to tree. 485 feet par 4.
Hole 15: Tee off dirt on way to path by bench to portable basket at end of woods by table. On or over path OB. Mando right of marked tree. Drop zone next to tree. 292 feet par 3.
Hole 16: Tee off path near rest rooms to basket 10. On or over path right OB. 236 feet par 3.
Hole 17: Hole 11. 229 feet par 3.
Hole 18 Hole 12. Must land between path lines on drive. Drop zone on path straight ahead. If go off island after re-tee or while up shooting, putting, play as an OB line. 314 feet par 3.
So there you have it a 6867 feet par 59.
