About this tournament

The Circuit Challenge is back! Be the first to get your hands on three discs from the MVP family of brands, before their general release to the public, by playing in a Circuit Challenge.

ABOUT:
The 2025 Circuit Challenge is the second event in the Circuit Events Series from MVP Disc Sports! This event will give players the opportunity to get their hands on some brand new prototypes before they are released to the general public while playing in a fun and unique unsanctioned tournament that welcomes both experienced vets of the game and first-timers!

The entry fee for a 2025 Circuit Challenge is $46. This includes three limited-edition discs (one driver, one midrange, and one putter) that are only available through playing in one of these events. In a fun twist to traditional disc golf tournaments, players are required to use only the three player pack discs in the Circuit Challenge.

This year’s discs are as follows:
Driver: Streamline Fission Trace
- [ 11 | 5 | -1 | 2 ]
- Straight to stable distance driver
- Only available in light weights for Circuit Challenge
- Available for the first time since a limited release on the Pro Shop

Midrange: MVP Particle Glow Proton Uplink
- [ 5 | 5 | -3 | 0.5 ]
- Great for hyzer flips and turnovers for experienced players
- Ideal for straight shots for new players
- Available for the first time in Particle Glow plastic

Putter: MVP Electron Watt
- [ 2 | 5 | -0.5 | 0.5 ]
- Super straight throwing putter
- Available for the first time in Electron plastic

Players will take on this year’s Circuit Challenge at the beautiful Oxbow Falls Disc Golf Course in Madison County!

Dolfin Discs will be on-site all day and have tournament central stocked up with hundreds of discs, gear, & more!!!

REGISTRATION:

PLAYER PACKS:
- All participants will receive the 2025 Circuit Challenge player pack which consists of three limited edition discs from your favorite MVP brands!

- You may choose to add on the limited-edition Axiom Watermelon Fireball. (Please note that the Fireball cannot be used as a fourth disc while playing the event.)
- FOLLOWING MVP’S GUIDELINES, WE WILL NOT HAVE A PLAYER PACK ONLY OPTION FOR SALE. YOU MUST PLAY IN THE EVENT TO OBTAIN THE PLAYER PACK DISCS.

Player packs have been juiced up with some bonus items from Dolfin Discs!!!
- Limited edition Dolfin Dust Grip Bag (New addition to the Dolfin Dust line, the grip bag includes natural clay and chalk for superior grip in all weather conditions!)
- Mystery value Dolfin Discs tournament coupon!

FORMAT:
- One round of 18-27 holes depending on division (see layouts below).
- You must only throw the three discs included in the player pack.
- No mandos and only OB will be water. Please bring a mini to mark your lie.
- We will utilize UDisc for scoring. Best score in each division wins.

LAYOUT:
- MPO & FPO: One round of 27-holes of standard par scoring from Oxbow’s long layout (Main Longs – 27 on UDisc).
- MA1 & FA1: One round of 27-holes of standard par scoring from Oxbow’s short layout (Main Shorts – 27 on UDisc).
- MA2, FA2, MJ15, FJ15: One round of 18-holes of standard par scoring from Oxbow’s short layout (Main Shorts – 18 on UDisc).
Divisions/Layouts may be adjusted depending on number of registrations as well as weather/conditions at the course. Reach out with any questions.

COURSE:
- Oxbow Falls can be a physically challenging course with steep hills. Please wear appropriate footwear and plan for a hike rather than a walk in the park.
- The course is well marked and scoring with UDisc will keep course navigation easy.
- Divisions playing 27-holes will take on Alphabet Loop, a stunning 9-hole addition that begins after hole 13 and returns players to hole 14. Alphabet Loop has more dense vegetation, additional water hazards, and tee pads are gravel.

SCHEDULE:
9:00am – 4:00pm: Flex start! You are welcome to show up and start your round any time during this window. If you do not have a card, we’ll help you form one. Tournament Central will be set up at the disc golf pavilion where you can check-in and pick up your player pack items.
5:30pm(-ish) – 6:00pm: Prizes will be awarded immediately after the final card finishes and scores are verified! If you win a prize but aren’t able to stay through the end, we’ll reach out to make arrangements to get your prize to you!
We’ll keep an eye on the weather. If it’s going to be a hot day we’ll adjust start times so you can come play earlier in the morning while it’s still cool!

LUNCH:
- We’ll have hotdogs on the grill and bottles of water for all players throughout the day! Potluck style is encouraged if you’d like to bring a snack or dish to pass!

DIVISIONS:
- MPO and FPO: See layout above for info.
- MA1, MA2, FA1, & FA2: Come tournament day, MA1 and MA2 will be combined into one single division if each does not have 3 or more players registered. The same will be done for FA1 and FA2. Regardless of number of players we will maintain dedicated MA and FA divisions!
- Regardless of number of players registered we will hold separate MJ15 and FJ15 divisions! If we have a large gap in ages in the junior divisions, we may separate them further.

WINNERS:
- Prizes are in the works and more details will be provided soon!!!
- All juniors playing in any division will not leave empty handed, that’s a promise!!

CTP:
- We’ll have CTP prizes available. Arrangements are still being made. CTP holes and prizes will be announced day-of when you check-in for your round.
- Please contact Dolfin Discs if you would like to sponsor a CTP prize!

ACE POT:
- We have a rolling ace pot for the Circuit Events series! No ace was hit at the Glitch World Championship Qualifier, so the current ace pot is sitting at $30!
- The ace pot is optional during registration or check-in and costs $5.
- If no ace is hit during this event, the ace pot will carry over to the final event of the Circuit Events Series (the MVP Space Race)!

RAFFLE:
- Raffle item is TBD! If there’s a specific item you’d like to see raffled off, feel free to let us know!
- All participants will receive one raffle ticket upon check-in. Additional tickets will be available for sale at the event: [5 tickets = $5] [20 tickets = $10]
- All proceeds from the raffle help cover tournament operation costs.
