About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Remember when you were young ?
You shined like the Sun.
Shine on, you Crazy Diamond …
Lowcountry Disc Golf welcomes you to join us for one of our favorite disc golf formats - Ranked Dubs
No partner needed.
Everyone signs up individually.
All partners will be assigned after registration closes.
Lower rated players are teamed up with the higher rated players according to everyone’s PDGA ratings.
This keeps the entire playing field as even and competitive as possible.
Everyone has a fair and equal chance of winning.
This is a PDGA rated tournament, so this will also be a great way to build up your Amateur points.
If you don’t already know, dubs is the best and quickest way to get those Amateur points for the yearly World’s Competition.
We are also excited to be back playing on one of our favorite courses, the Palmetto Chains Disc Golf Course.
This course truly is a gem.
You might say that it’s one of those Crazy Diamonds of the disc golf world.
The folks who designed and run it are good people, and the layout is both challenging and fair.
Make sure you check out their cool little on site Pro Shop, while you’re there.
Limited Edition Tournament Art …
Lowcountry Disc Golf has always prided ourselves in being different, and not being afraid of trying new things.
Case in point is our limited editions of tournament artwork.
If you played in our recent Cow Patty Tournament, you probably saw some of the artwork that was on display there.
These are designed, and printed, by very talented members of our very own Lowcountry Disc Golf Community.
We are excited and proud to offer these to you as an option, when you register for this event.
Now, here’s the stuff that every potential tournament player wants to know ….
What’s it going to cost me, and what do I get ?
Here’s what it’s going to cost you …
$15 - each player
That’s going to be paid, in cash, the day of the tournament, when you check in.
If you are not a current member of the PDGA, Disc Golf Scene will charge you an additional $15, that is required by the PDGA.
If that is the case for you, then the total cost for you to play in this tournament would be $30.
Here’s what you’re going to get …
2 sanctioned rounds of dubs
Player packs and CTPs
Trophies for our top finishers in each competing division
All this, and ….
a damn good time.
Pass through fees, which is how we spend some of your $15 entry fees, are as follows …
PDGA fees - $4
Course fee - $2
The other $9 of your registration fees goes to the player packs, CTPs, and trophies.
That’s full transparency for you, Lowcountry Disc Golf style.
We sincerely thank you all for the continued good vibes and support.
