About this tournament

Lowcountry Disc Golf welcomes you back to the Palmetto Chains Disc Golf Course.
This time, we’re playing dubs.
You’ll want to grab your best dance partner for this one, because we’re also using this as a qualifier for the USDGC Doubles Tournament in Winthrop.

The USDGC Doubles Main Event is an amateur disc golfer's only opportunity to compete at the famed Winthrop Arena Course decked out in all its USDGC Pageantry. If you want to test your mettle on one of the most challenging courses in the world, this is your chance. So get qualified and let's see how you and your partner fare in the arena.
Let us know if you have any questions.

Here is the qualifying information …

For MA Divisions -
1-5 teams = 1 team will qualify
6-10 teams = 2 teams will qualify
11+ teams = 3 teams will qualify

For FA Divisions -

1-3 teams = 1 team will qualify
4-7 teams = 2 teams will qualify
8+ teams = 3 teams will qualify

The winning teams will receive an immediate invitation to the tournament in Winthrop.
The other qualifying teams will be given a chance to register for the tournament at a later date.

This Qualifier is sponsored by Innova Disc Golf

FA divisions will play from short tees on holes 4,11,14 and 15
All other divisions will play from the long tees.

All players will receive a premium custom stamped disc.
There will also be medals awarded to the teams who qualify.

Lowcountry Disc Golf is also happy to be teaming up with Palmetto Chains to help collect food items for one of our local food programs.
Please bring extra food items, if you are able to, and help us get some much needed food to some hungry folks.
All non-perishable food items are needed, so please join with us to help out however you can.

Pass Through fees are the part of your registration fees that we have to pay out to make this tournament possible.
From your $40 (per team) entry fee, we pay out
$4 per team for the course to play on
$8 per team for PDGA fees, which include insurance, as well as sanctioning and scoring fees.
$6 per team for tournament director fees
We also have to pay the PDGA $20 per team for this tournament being a qualifier for the USDGC Dubs Tournament in Winthrop, and the discs that they provide for the player packs.
So that’s where $38 of your $40 registration fee goes to.
The other $2 per team goes to player packs and trophies.
