About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Lowcountry Disc Golf is excited to welcome you back to one of our favorite courses, Palmetto Chains.
If you played our tournament here in January, then you played in the first ever C-Tier tournament on this course.
This time, we’re inviting you back to play in the first B-Tier tournament on the course.
This tournament is a B-tier for Amateur Players, but will remain a C-tier tournament for all Professional Players.
There are a couple of notable differences between a C, and a B tier tournament.
The main difference for you, the player, is that you must be a current member of the PDGA to be eligible to play.
The competition gets a little more serious, and folks are paying more attention to adhering to the rules of play.
This will be a great time for you to brush up on your tournament rules of play. I highly recommend everyone getting ‘’rule certified’’ by the PDGA. It’s easy to do, and it doesn’t take a lot of time to get it done.
This will be a sanctioned, 2 round , singles tournament.
All pro divisions , along with the MA-1, MA-2, and MA-40 divisions will play from the long tees.
All Female divisions, along with MA-3, MA-50, MA-55, MA-60, and MA-65 will play from the short tees.
There are only 4 holes that have short tees.
A 1st Place trophy will be awarded for each division with at least 3 players.
A 2nd Place trophy will be added to any division with 6 or more players.
A 3rd Place trophy will be added to any division with 9 or more players.
We are also using this tournament as a way to collect food for a local food bank.
Please bring any non-perishable food items that you are willing to donate.
We will be collecting these items at check in.
This tournament will cost you $15 to play in.
You will register here on Disc Golf Scene, but you will pay your registration fee when you check in on the day of the tournament.
No cash apps will be available, so you must have your $15 in cash.
The Pass Through fees for this tournament are listed here.
This tells you what we do with the money from your registration fee.
$4 goes to the PDGA for sanctioning the event, insurance, and the official recording of the scores.
$2 goes to the course
$6 goes to player packs and trophies
$3 goes to the TD fees
And that is financial transparency at its best folks.
You can see that we’re doing this for all of you, and the love of the game.
Thank you for your support over the past 5 years.
Lowcountry Disc Golf appreciates you and your support.
