Welcome to the first ever W.I.A.D. (Worlds In A Day) event here in Louisville Ky. This will be a 5 round tournament held in a single day, playing out the challenge of the Disc Golf World Championship Major in 17 short hours, an endurance disc golf marathon not for the faint of heart. This will take place July 13th, in Louisville Ky at Iroquois Park.
The 5 rounds may be played as slowly or as quickly as preferred, starting no earlier than 6am, and finishing no later than 11pm, the park's hours of operation. Baskets will be lit up from dusk to 11pm to allow for glow rounds after dark. Any holes left uncompleted after the deadline will incur a penalty of 10 strokes over par per hole. The lowest score of the combined 5 rounds will be deemed the Louisville WIAD Champion.
All divisions must play 5 distinct Layouts, but they can be played in any order...
-Championship Layout (advanced)
-Mixed Layout (advanced)
-Green Layout (intermediate)
-20 Hole Glow Layout (intermediate)
-Red Layout (begginer)
This is a self governed, unsanctioned tournament, where honor and personal integrity will be valued over any of the winners. The goal is to push players to their max to see what they're made of, and because of the unique format for this event, we will rely soley on honest score keeping from each player. While playing in a group is encouraged, it is not required, which will allow players to play at their own pace and endurance levels.
Divisions will simply be Pro and Am based on Player Ratings.
Pro Div = 900 or more
Am Div = 899 or less
Ratings will be verified by TD before payouts. If you cannot show a rating history, you must play MPO.
All divisions will be paid out in cash, $100 will be added to both divisions, but only if there's 4 or more people in the division, and any remaining cash will be given to any division with 4 or more players.

Scoring will be done via the UDisc app, and players may check in on any layout they play throughout the day. A caddy book will be provided in the next few days, please check the pictures section for updates for individual layout details. Adding a focus on self reliance, no player's pack, water, snacks, or any other perk will be provided, so plan accordingly. There is a bottle fill station half way between 18 long pin and the amphitheater. There is one small caveat to the day, there is an event starting at noon and lasting til 4:00 where cars could potentially be in the field on 18 and 1. I will have a written set of instructions for dealing with this if it does pose a problem.
