About this tournament

Welcome to the first Little Bear Open, a 2 round PDGA Sanctioned C-tier at Little Bear Golf Club!
This event is the result of a proud partnership between Disc Golf Mart and Little Bear Golf Club. Our team here is happy to present hopefully the first of 2 annual events utilizing the course at Little Bear.
This event will be using a temporary layout to increase the challenge of the course, use some new parts of the property, and bring more danger into play. The layout will be a long and short tee layout with some alternate tee locations, alternate pin positions, and additional hazards to navigate compared to the usual course. Temporary pins, tees, and OB flags will be not be in place until Friday or Saturday before the event).
After the event, we will be looking for feedback so we can continue to make adjustments & improvements to the course.
The event will be 2 rounds of Shotgun Start.
MPO, MP40, & MA1 will play the Temp Layout - Ursa Minor (Goal is a PDGA Blue+ layout difficulty)
All other divisions will play the Temp Layout - Oso Pequeño (Goal is a PDGA White+ layout difficulty)
Practice Rounds for the event with the exact temporary tee and pin positions will be permitted ONLY on Friday the 27th. For the official practice round day, temporary tees and temporary pin positions will be marked by flags & paint. Temporary pin positions will not be in place until Sunday morning of the event. All rounds at Little Bear Must adhere to the course schedule and each player must be a Little Bear Club member or must pay for the round.
Player's pack will be: $20 voucher to the Little Bear Disc Golf Mart, redeemable immediately upon check-in.
Pro payout will be via PayPal. Amateur payout will be on site at the Little Bear Store immediately after the event.
Ace Pot: $5 - If an ace is not hit during the event, a CTP throw-off for 50% of the ace pot will take place from the concrete behind the wedding venue to 17's basket. The remaining ace pot will go supporting course development efforts by DGM.
Entry Fee Deductions:
$3 PDGA Per Player Sanctioning
$12 Course Equipment (Paint, flags and $10 Greens Fee for the day)
Am Net Entry Fee: $40
Pro Net Entry Fee: $50
Little Bear Members may register early for the event. Per PDGA rule, this pre-registration is limited to 1/3 of the available spots. As such, 24 spots will be held during pre-registration on a first come first serve basis for members to sign up using the code. Individuals who are not members caught using the code will be removed from the event without notification and will not receive a refund.
