About this tournament
Event Overview
The Lexington Open XXVIII showcases some of Central Kentucky’s top disc golf venues while providing high-level competition rooted in sportsmanship and community. Whether you’re competing for a podium finish or pushing your personal limits, we’re glad you’re here.
LWS Open Regional Qualifier — DGPT Opportunity
The 2026 Lexington Open is officially designated as a Regional Qualifier for the 2026 LWS Open at Idlewild — a major opportunity for competitive players.
With DGPT events becoming increasingly competitive through tiered registration, regional qualifiers now provide local players a pathway into elite competition. This event will award:
• 2 MPO qualifying spots
• 2 FPO qualifying spots
The highest-finishing eligible players not already registered for Idlewild will receive a guaranteed opportunity to register (entry fee still required). If a player declines or is unable to compete, the qualifying spot passes to the next eligible finisher. Players will have 24–48 hours to accept or decline their invitation.
Women's Global Event - BDGA has decided to align with WGE to spotlight the Ladies of disc golf. We look forward to using this opportunity to break Lexington Open records with the number of participating females.
