The 2015 Lewiston Ladies Championship is the first of what will hopefully become a solid women's event for years to come. Funds raised for this event will be split evenly between the tournament itself and the charity "Equality Now", which fights against inequalities and abuses of women and girls around the world. The format will be a one day, two round PDGA B tier at Joseph Davis State Park with a minimum $500 added to the pro purse. Am divisions will be players pack only. The value of the players pack will depend on funds raised but the minimum players pack value will be $25, which is more than double the $10 entry fee for all am divisions. If enough funds are raised, the players pack value will be higher. Tell all your lady friends. Non sanctioned doubles or something simple will be put together to some extent to give any men traveling with the ladies something to play in.
