About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Legends at the Lake is the premier event at Cougar Lake DGC, Arkansas' newest championship level course. This is a 2 round C-Tier disc golf tournament in Lonsdale, located just between Hot Springs and Little Rock. Both rounds will be played on 1 day as a shotgun start for all divisions.
Cougar Lake is a privately owned high level disc golf course that is only open for play a few times a year for events and special occasions. The course will challenge a wide variety of skills from gap hitting to distance and is always a true mental challenge. If you have played the course before we are excited to share a few changes in the layout coming this Fall. Most notably are short tees that we hope to have in play for Legends at the Lake.
Course Layouts & Player Pools
We will be debuting the short tees for this event! Note, these tees will be natural, dirt tees marked by stakes in the ground. They are not ideal and we recognize that. However, we feel that the layout is very enjoyable and more appropriate for B pool divisions. If you have played the shorts already note that we will be moving holes 3 and 9 for better footing and making sure that each tee is as playable as possible. If you would like to practice the course come out next week!
A Pool - MPO, MP40, MA1 - Both Rounds Long Tees
B Pool - MA40, MA2 - 1st Round Shorts, 2nd Round Longs
C Pool - FPO, MA50, MA60, MA3, MA4, All Am Women - Both Round Shorts
Players Pack
All am players will receive a players pack including event custom discs, pin, and stickers. We will also have Cougar Lake T-Shirts available for purchase in addition to your event entry.
Raffle
We will have a raffle to help raise money for permanent short tees at Cougar Lake! The raffle will include a Chainstar Basket, Simon Lizotte Time Lapse Prototype, over a dozen Discraft discs, 2 Disc Golf Bags, and more!
Tickets are available for purchase with registration and will be at the event as well. You do not have to be present to win, though it is preferred. Players who registered early will get some free raffle tickets!
If you would like to donate prizes to the raffle that would be much appreciated!
Entry Fee Breakdown
-$10 from each entry will go to Cougar Lake for Green Fees. Anyone registered for the event will get free practice rounds the week prior to the event.
-$5 for each event will go to PDGA and Event fees
-$30 for each am entry will go to players pack.
-All additional collected entries will be paid out. ($55 for Pro divisions - $20 for MA1 - $10 for MA2, MA40+)
MA3, MA4, FA3, FA4, and Junior divisions will not earn payout for this event.

Awards will Follow Round 2. The raffle will be drawn during the 2nd round and players can claim their prizes immediately after the round.
