About this tournament
1 round of play
Join us for the inaugural Lancaster Pride Throws - Charity Triples Disc Golf Tournament, a fun and competitive event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Lancaster Pride. This format encourages teamwork, caters to all skill levels, and is a fantastic way to support the local LGBTQIA+ community and its allies.
The format will be Best Shot Triples. This minimizes the impact of a single bad throw, making it enjoyable for seasoned veterans and beginners alike.
Format explanation
Each team will consist of three players. All three players on the team throw a tee shot. The team decides which lie is the "best shot." All three players then throw their second shot from that selected spot. This process is repeated until the disc is successfully put into the basket. The team records the total number of throws they used to complete the hole.
The team with the lowest score for the round wins their division.
Small trophies will be presented to both the lowest scoring Pro and Amateur teams regardless of what division they play in. There will also be additional prizes given in both a Ring of Fire competition and multiple Closest to the Pin prizes throughout the round.
At least 50% of the net proceeds from team registrations will be donated directly to Lancaster Pride to support their annual festival, educational programs, and community initiatives. Come on out and show us what you've got!
