LAKE SELMAC DISC GOLF COURSE WORK PARTY!
The Josephine County Disc Golf Alliance and Josephine County Parks Department are teaming up for another work party at Lake Selmac!
Saturday, October 10th
⏰ 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
Lake Selmac Disc Golf Course — meet at the pavilion
When you arrive, check in at the pavilion and get your work assignment.
WHAT WE’RE WORKING ON:
Our main course improvement project is the replacement and installation of 6 new tee pads. A crew has already been assigned specifically to handle the tee-pad installation.
For everyone else coming out to help, we’ll have plenty of work to do, including:
Cutting small trees and shrubs and clearing/mulching behind Holes 3 & 4 for future longer tees
Adding fill dirt and mulch around existing/newer tee pads for erosion control
Replacing the bench on Hole 11
Installing the new metal bridges if we can get them on site
General course cleanup and improvement
The Parks Department will have a tractor and chipper available to help with the work.
LUNCH + DOUBLES
Hot dog lunch will be provided for work-party participants!
After lunch and the work party, we’ll have Random Doubles around 2:00 PM for anyone participating.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring whatever you have available to help get the job done:
• Work gloves
• Shovels
• Rakes
• Wheelbarrows
• Chainsaws
• Other favorite cleanup/landscaping tools
Also bring water, snacks, work clothes, and appropriate footwear.

We’re asking everyone who plans to attend to RSVP on this DiscGolfScene event page so we can get an accurate head count and properly plan for both the work and lunch.
Come out, get your hands dirty, help improve Lake Selmac, and then throw some doubles with us afterward!
