2 Rounds of 18 Holes at Lions Park DGC in Temple TX
PDGA C-Tier Event
This time around we will be featuring 2 exciting layouts: the 'Links' and the 'Hill'.

A Pool - All PRO Divisions and MA1
B Pool - All Amateur Age Restricted Divisions (MA40+), All women's amateur and junior divisions, Men's Intermediate, Recreational, Novice and Junior divisions.

TFOB - Throwing from OB - This means you must cross in bounds or take +1 penalty and proceed to DZ or Retee
2 Meters relief from all Fences
Fence and Beyond OB, Surrounded by Water OB, Curb/Pavement/Concrete/Trail/Sidewalk and Beyond OB. All concrete pavilions (roof included) are OB
The first number pertains to the event, the second #number pertains to the actual course. Normally, the course is numbered as follows: 1a, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4A, 4B, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 20A, 21, 22, 23 for a total of 27 holes.
For this event we will not be using holes 10 or 11 either round, but they will work great for warming up.

Lion's does not have the best tee signs, so here is some extra info to find certain holes. To get from 2's pin to 3's tee follow the sidewalk towards the pond. To get to 4a from 4 cross the sidewalk towards the fence. 4b is down the sidewalk from 4a. 5's tees are across the road towards the pond. 6's tee is right next to 3's tee. Hole 7's tees are on the other side of the water from 6's pin, you'll be walking by these to get to 6's green. 12 and 13 are across the road from 9's pin. From 14 go RIGHT to get to 23 and go LEFT to get to 15. Hole 20's temp tees are near the fence line by the entrance of the park/road, The A hole (19A) is located on the other side of the road from 19's pin and plays around the bend in the road. After this hole keep walking in the direction of the main pavilion and find temp tee for the D hole (19D) This hole will take you back across the road towards hole 21's Long Tee. After playing 21 walk towards the pavilion to find the B hole. Plays along the backside of the main pavilion. To get to C hole go across the road and up the hill to the left to find your tee (This is 1a, aka the hole before hole 1)

Round 1 will be played on the 'Links' course and plays as follows:
1 - #1's Tee to #2's pin (Sidewalk and BEYOND on LEFT is OB, Fence and Beyond on RIGHT is OB) The sidewalk that separates the short and long part of the fairways is considered an OB river. Eve
2 - #3's Long Tee to #3's pin
3 - #4 A Pool plays Long #4, B Pool plays Short #4 Sidewalk plays as OB river (Safe on BOTH SIDES)
4 - #4A - TFOB - Must cross sidewalk to be in bounds or ReTee (Tee box located on the opposite side of the sidewalk as #4's pin

6 - #5 A Pool plays Long #5, B Pool plays Short #5
7 - #6 Surrounded by water is OB
8 - #7 A Pool plays Long #7, B Pool plays Short #7 (This is the hole that borders #2's fairway)
9. #8 (concrete culvert ditch thing on the hillsidepast the pin is safe)

13. #23 A Pool plays Long #23, B Pool plays Short #23 (Long uphill hole that borders the park road)
14. #22 All divisions play Long Tee, Par 4 (Long hole that plays down to waters edge)

16. #18 All divisions play Temp Long Tee (NO Mando)
17. #20 A Pool plays Temp Long #20 (Orange/Blue) B Pool plays Temp Short #20 (Orange/Pink) - Long Tee par 4, Short Tee par 3
18. #21 A Pool plays Long #21, B Pool plays Short #21 (The hole that plays back to the pavilion)

Round 2 will be played on the 'Hill' course and plays as follows:
1 - #1 Tee to 7's pin (Sidewalk and BEYOND is OB, Fence and Beyond is OB)
2 - #8 (concrete culvert ditch thing on the hillside past the pin is safe)
3 - #9
4 - #12 - All divisions will use Temp Tee located across the road at the T in the sidewalk (marked with orange paint)

7 - #23 A Pool plays Long #23, B Pool plays Short #23 (Long uphill hole that borders the park road)
8 - #22 All divisions play Long Tee, Par 4 (Long hole that plays down to waters edge)

14 - #A - Walk across the road to find the tee, NO MANDO, Curb/Pavement and beyond OB
15 - #D - Temp Tee to Temp Pin - Walk past A's pin towards the main pavilion to find the #D tee, this hole plays back across the road towards 21's long tee
16 - #21 A Pool plays Long #21, B Pool plays Short #21 (The hole that plays back to the pavilion)
17 - #B - Temp Tee to Temp Pin - Walk to the left of 21's pin and down the hill and a little bit back to the right to find #b Tee (Near 22's Long Tee)
18 - #C - Walk across the road and up the hill to the left to find #C tee (Turf tee pad) - This hole has 2 safe landing zones on the right of the sidewalk: 1 short of the T'd sidewalk, and 1 long of T'd sidewalk where the pin is located. Any shot that lands On or LEFT of the sidewalk are OB. The sidewalk that separates the short and long part of the fairways is considered an OB river.
