This event is part of the PDGA's Competition Endowment Program. That means this is a charity event. Our charity is FLECS, a program that provides financial assistance to MI high school students who must pay for extra-curricular activities but can't afford it.
Since this is a sanctioned charity event, just as it was last year, we have to follow certain PDGA guidelines for payouts. One is that your $2 PDGA player fee goes to the charity, not the PDGA, and the club has to match that $2 fee. After that, 25% of your net entry fee is supposed to go to the charity as well, however, since it's a charity, We, the CCR, take care of most of that to give you all better payouts.
