    ALL TIMES CST! Players Meeting. I should have a video up with some explanation of the rules, but this will recap and give a chance for Q&A

    9:00am - 11:00am

    1st Round - SHOTGUN START
    HOLES 1-9: Best SCORE doubles
    Both teammates play the hole individually, but the best hole SCORE from each team is taken for match play points. Best team score per hole gets the point for the hole, ties are halved.
    HOLES 10-18: Alternate shot/tee doubles
    Doubles match play where players alternate shots, and switch off who tees off (player A takes odd tees, player B tees off on evens, etc). Best score per hole gets the point for the hole, ties are halved
    OVERALL SCORE FOR THE ROUND:
    As you take your hole points for each hole, the team with the most points will get a Match point for the overall team score. Ties are halved.

    11:00am - 11:45am

    Lunch break - might try to shorten this as we have a BBQ with awards ceremony

    12:00pm - 4:00pm

    Round 2 - Singles

    Match play! Each hole worth a point for the round, then each round is worth a match point to the winner! (Ties halved)

    BYOB! Water and soda provided!

    PDGA Hall-of-famer and course designer Brian Cummings will be onsite vending Innova/Discraft. If the tournament does not sell out I will have the additional players pack discs for sale as well.

About this tournament

This is your Northern Illinois (team Bishop Ford) vs team Northern Indiana (team Borman) BATTLE AT THE BORDER!

This team challenge will be using the Ryder Cup (famous Bolf tournament US vs Europe) for its round styles and scoring. We will need two rounds in order to make this happen. Shotgun start each round.


While I have the divisions limited - you will VERY LIKELY still be able to still play! Just need to make sure you have a partner/opponent! Wait list should only be temporary!

THE PLAYERS PACK!
Want to make this a great experience for all! Players will receive:
-A tournament stamped disc (discmania P2 or MD3 - players choice while supplies last)
-Snacks
-Disc CTP (One unless sponsor/s add more) - probably something from my USDGC Partner stock.
-BBQ at the end of second round (Veggie option will be available)
-Sparkling juice (maybe fermented, pending park regulations) to the winning team for celebrations!
-Losing team gets consolation Malört (pending park regulations)

OPTIONAL ADDITIONS:
-Shirt with logo seen at the top of this page!
-50/50 Cash CTP - 2 OPPORTUNITIES: half of each goes to a donation. 1 goes to Wounded Warrior Project. The 2nd goes to Duneland Disc Golf Club's new clubhouse fund.
-Ace fund that runs both rounds! If no hits, CTP for half, and the other half will go to Wounded Warrior Project. Paid via PayPal after the tournament.
-'Big Dog' CTP - chance to put some real money on the line for a bigger payout! Will be on a hole that we think most people would have a chance on. No buy-ins after the fact!

IF WEATHER PREVENTS THE FINISH OF THE DAY:
-50/50 CTPs change to all donation
-'Big Dog' Ace I will refund via here or PayPal, TBD if it happens.
-BBQ will still continue unless lightning somehow forms that day. Otherwise food will be purchased so that'll just be a wash (literally)
