This tournament will be a XC-Tier event. For MA1,FA1,MA2,FA2,MA40,FA40 Divisions this event is a USDGC Doubles Qualifying Event (details below) 2 day event.
Players Packs will include Custom Houston Doubles Event Hat, Custom event disc .

ACEPOT: will be available only during event check in CASH ONLY (not pre-tournament). If Acepot is not hit we will do a CTP hole 1.
Tournament Format: Doubles (BYOP - Bring Your Own Partner)
Round 1 Saturday: Best shot- you and your partner will both throw a shot, and play from the shot of the best of the 2. you will continue to play from the the best shot until the hole is completed by one player on your doubles team.
Round 2 Sunday: Alternate Shot- You and your partner will have to alternate every shot during the entirety of the round. Example: Player 1 throws the drive, player 2 then would have to take the second shot, if the second shot results in completing the hole, then player 1 would have to throw the Tee shot on the following hole. Now if player 2 misses the 2nd shot, player 1 will have to take the 3rd shot. (whichever player completes the hole, the other player will throw the following Tee shot) you will play this way for the entirety of the round.
If there is a playoff in any respective divisions, the play order will be 1,2,3, on repeat best shot format until a winner is determined
USDGC Doubles Qualifier specifics:
Men MA1,FA1,MA2,FA2,MA40,FA40
MA1 & MA2 Divisions
1–5 teams → 1 team qualifies
6-10 teams → 2 teams qualify
11+ teams → 3 teams qualify
FA1, MA40 & FA40 Divisions
1–3 teams → 1 team qualifies
4-7 teams → 2 teams qualify
8+ teams → 3 teams qualify

Player Eligibility:
All players must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible to compete in the USDGC Doubles Main event:
The Player is not a PDGA member or does not have a player rating and has never accepted cash in a PDGA event.
The player has an Amateur Player Classification with the PDGA - meaning the player is classified as an amateur and plays in amateur divisions for prizes instead of cash. If a player plays in a Pro division and accepts cash at any time, they become classified as a Professional member. An Amateur class player has either never accepted cash, or if they have, they have later met the criteria to be reclassified from Professional back to Amateur with the PDGA.
A mixed group of pro and am-class players is not allowed.
Players who qualify as a team must play together as a team in the main event. No substitutions, no exceptions.
All qualified players must register online by Sunday, September 10th. No exceptions.
Only top Amateur divisions will qualify for an invitation to USDGC. **
132 Players MAX (66 teams) We will have division caps for some of the divisions to allow for participation, CAPS WILL be adjusted based on participation and demand.
Trophies will only be available for divisions with 3 teams or more. If a division has more than 8 teams a second place trophy will get added. trophies will be ordered 1 week prior to the eve

Refund policy
Par54 Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations
For cancelations 72 hours before event check-in start time will receive a full refund minus registration fees with a written email notice to [email redacted].
For cancelations 24 hours before event check-in start time will receive a full refund minus registration fees ONLY if the players spot can be filled with alternate player with a written email notice to [email redacted].
Any cancelations within 24 hours of event will receive merchandise credit at the vendors discretion.
No refunds for Forfeit/No shows
**Refunds can be made under certain circumstances at the discretion of the Tournament Director case by case basis
