Bare Bones and First Light DGA present the 11th Annual Horizon Disc Golf Tournament.

Horizon Disc Golf Course is on 60 acres of private land outside of Snowflake AZ, at the Kothrade homestead Horizon. Please be respectful of the land and hosts, so that we can continue to run events here.

Horizon is a very challenging, but fun, 27 hole, par 92 course in high-desert hilly terrain. Holes range in distance from 130ft to 860ft, Par3 to Par5.. The 27 holes total over 10k feet of fairway distance. The baskets are of various make and quality. The tee pads are either dirt or stone. The terrain is rugged, undeveloped, full of trees and other hazards. Do not sign up if you can't handle these challenges. Those who do accept the challenge are rewarded with a beautiful and memorable experience.

There are a few rules for the Horizon Golf course:
No Carts
No Glass
No Dogs
No Illegal Substances

There is onsite camping available for those that wish to camp. Camping will be in designated areas only. There is access to well water for drinking, an outhouse, and outdoor shower. The shower is solar-heated, so water may or may not be warm, depending on weather and usage.

There is a swimming pool accessible at two points during the course. In the event of hot weather, participants are welcome to take a break at the pool and cool off. Some players opt to golf in quick drying clothing so they can swim during the round. Swimming breaks during the round are completely optional, at the group's discretion.

Shortened 18-hole Course for FA2 only.

Schedule of Events:
6/7/24 - Random Draw Doubles - 21 Holes - 12pm signup, 1pm Tee Off - $5 / player
6/8/24 - Checkin 8:30-9:30am - Player's meeting at 10am followed by 1st round
6/9/24 - Final Round - Tee times starting at 8am - Awards approximately 3-4pm
