About this tournament

Highland Fling Trilogy Challenge Disc Golf Tournament
Event Held:
Friday, July 31, 6-8am or 3-6 pm - Flex start
Saturday, Aug. 1, 7am to 9am – Flex start
Preliminary events with early packet pickup will occur the entire week before the event and include prizes, with the purpose to familiarize you with these discs.
The 2026 Trilogy Challenge is a disc golf tournament series where players compete using a specific player pack containing three discs: a driver, midrange, and putter. Only these three discs may be used during the event. It is a fun, beginner friendly event that encourages new players to participate in their first event.
Place: Beacon Hill Park (5959 West Beacon Hill Boulevard, Highland, Utah 84003)
Disc Golf Best Shot Doubles Tournament (Blue Course) + plus Singles Competition (Red Course). Players can do both.
The Doubles game is the main event, the Singles is secondary. If you plan to play both, you must play one of the courses on Friday, there will not be enough time to play both on Saturday.
Doubles format: Best shot/throw (both players throw from same lie, then team chooses the best resulting disc to throw from next). Each player must take six tee shots. Failure to take six of a player’s drives will result in a one stroke penalty for each drive you are short. As an example, if you take 14 of one player's drives and four of another's you will take a two-stroke penalty.
Doubles teams & divisions: Pick your own team or be assigned. Divisions based on the average of the combined rating of team.
Singles Competition: A straight competition based on age groups on Red Course only.
Registration: $45 ($15 if you already have a set from another 2026 Trilogy tournament). Registration is open until spaces are full, but guaranteed spots are available till July 15 at 11am.
The 2026 Trilogy Challenge Player Pack includes:
• Latitude 64 BioGold Amber (driver) | Speed: 11 Glide: 6 Turn: -3 Fade: 2
• Dynamic Discs Lucid Orbit Mutiny (mid-range) | Speed: 5 Glide: 4 Turn: 0 Fade: 3

Is my UDisc Rating the Same as my PDGA Rating?
Your UDisc rating is not the same as your PDGA rating. They use completely different scoring scales and calculation methods, though you can roughly estimate your PDGA rating using a simple formula: multiply your UDisc rating by 2 and add 500.
PDGA Rating ≈ (UDisc Rating × 2) + 500
For example, a UDisc rating of 160 would equate to an approximate PDGA rating of 820 (i.e., 160 × 2 + 500 = 820).
