About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Redeemer University and Haute Goat Disc Golf are hosting the second College Disc Golf Regional Qualifier ever in Ontario. This November 1st we are inviting all of the CDG teams within range to come to Haute Goat and compete in this two round - 1 day tournament.
This event is a Regional Qualifier open to all full or part time college students with active College Disc Golf memberships. Teams will compete for one D1 bids and two D2 bids to the 2026 College Disc Golf National Championships in Rock Hill, SC.
D1 Women's do not compete for bids at Nationals and those registrations are open to all for CDGNC. You must register all 4 players (for mixed teams) for the event at the time of registration. No placeholders allowed (except for DI Women's teams - you'll need to add 2 placeholders as DGS won't allow for just teams of 2.
We are hoping some teams from the adjacent states of New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan consider coming to play, you won't be disappointed. Haute Goat is a fabulous course, 4.7 rating on Udisc, where we just hosted the Canadian Disc Golf Championship won by Paige Pierce and Ryan Monn. The course is in top form with a diversity of layouts and challenges to prepare you for Rock Hill. Check out this course preview by Canuck Hucks featuring Rebecca Don of Team Innova.

If you are a new CDG Team, or hoping to be one, please reach out directly to us and we can help you get started and connected with the College Disc Golf Team. Any college or university is likely eligible, head to the CDG website for more details:
https://collegediscgolf.com/
If you are registering a female team of two, DiscGolfScene will ask for four players, so please just fill in duplicate entries and we will delete them after you register.
All teams are invited to spend the Friday before at Haute Goat practicing and enjoying the farm. Depending on registration levels and the weather we may plan a GLOWIE round on the 18 hole Aceplace course that evening.
Schedule for those from away:
Friday - Travel to Port Hope
Friday - Practice - Fun - Evening Activity maybe - to be finalized
Saturday AM - Round 1 - Singles Play
Saturday PM - Round 2 - Team Play
There are some hotels close to the course, and a great camping resort just down the road. Haute Goat is in Port Hope, which is less than an hour from downtown Toronto. Port Hope is only 15 minutes from the course.
We may be opening this event to our local disc golf community who would like to try this exciting team format, just give us a week or so to see how many CDG teams we attract. If you are a local high school with a disc golf program, please reach out too, we also think this might be a great opportunity for high school teams to participate alongside the college students, just for fun and glory, but still exciting.
If you are interested in supporting this event or need more information please reach out directly to the Darrell Bankes at [email redacted]
