About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is gonna be an awesome 2 round, fun doubles tourney. This will be an awesome opportunity to see some awesome scoring and possible aces! each division will be playing for trophies and the first place players of each division will get a custom dyed disc by me! Also Infinite discs is gonna hook us up with some AMAZING CTPs.
Infinite discs is gonna be hooking everyone up with an awesome custom stamped disc.
We'll be playing the 21 hole layout so there'll be lots of action.
Divisions should be selected based off the combined skill set of the team. This can make it hard to decide what division to signup for. So, what division should you signup for?
Beginner - This is pretty self explanatory, if you are new to disc golf or are pretty inexperienced this is the division for you.
INT - If you and/or your partner are a rec player, play in a tournament every now and again, have a PDGA number or play semi often then you should signup for this division.
Pro/Open - The professionals or the wannabe pros. I feel like the people who play in this division know who they are.
Co-ed - If I have enough teams signup that want to be in a male/female, or female/female teams then I will add a Co-ed division for you guys.
If you have any questions on what division you and your teammate should play please let me know!
Round 1 will be a 'risk shot' round and round two will be a traditional 'best shot' round. A risk round is a newer format of doubles I think would be fun to try. Partner A will throw, then as a team, you will assess your shot and decide if Partner B should throw. If Partner B throws, then you MUST throw from Partner Bs lie. Partner A's lie is considered null as if it never happened. Alternate who is Partner A for the rest of the round and continue play and assessing your risk and reward potential.
Round 2 will be the standard best shot doubles. For best shot, both partners will throw and you and your partner play from the lie that you choose. It's the most popular form of disc golf doubles.
