About this tournament
The Glowing Goat Full Moon Doubles is our first GLOW event at Haute Goat. Bring your own partner for a single round shotgun start match on Saturday October 28th - after dark. That night Haute Goat is also hosting a family Halloween event called the Ghoully Goat Spooktacular - check it out at hautegoat.com - you are welcome to come early to enjoy the farm, have some food and drinks at the cafe, and play more disc golf.
The full moon that night will make it Spooktacular. We will be lighting up the baskets and some key areas but expect the full moon will give us plenty of glow to get around safely. Please bring the flashlights, glow tape and LED’s you need to play and navigate safely. You’ll be happy to see we have done a ton of work grading out some fairways and clearing extra brush, stumps and lumps.
We have three divisions based on the combined PDGA rating of your team.
Pro Pigs - combined rating of 1851 to 1950
Goats - combined rating of 1751 to 1850
Alpacas - combined rating of 1750 and below
No current rating - sign up anyway but don’t sandbag in a lower division, you don’t need bad mojo on Halloween. You are always welcome to play up a division for the challenge. All groups will play the same 'Glowing Goat' layout on the front 9 only that incorporates some temporary baskets, tee areas and a few new Gold baskets to scare you.
The entry fee is $29 per player, $13 per player goes to the cash payout and $16 per player goes to pay course fees and the glow stuff needed. We will payout the top 3 in each division, top 2 if there are less than 6 teams. Haute Goat members get $5 off.
After the round we will retire to the cafe to award the winners, console the losers and enjoy some Screaming Goat Cafe hospitality. Find yourself a partner and come to Haute Goat for a moonlit night of best disc doubles.
