Calvert Road Park Disc Golf Course is excited to be hosting a 2025 Glitch World Championship Qualifier Event!
All entrants will receive a player's pack with a Fission Glitch and Neutron Parachute, and will have the option to purchase a Baseball Edition Neutron Pitch. Please be aware that due to shipping times you must register by 5/9 to guarantee that your order will be filled. We will likely order some extra player's packs, but once we have placed the order registration will be capped.
This will be a two round, shotgun start event, where players are restricted to only use MVP Glitches, Axiom Pitches and Streamline Parachutes (non-player pack discs are acceptable).
Short layout, with one round of Red tees and one round of marked "Recreational" tees. We will not have a break between rounds. Upon completion of the last card from round 1, we will redraw and start round 2.
Scoring will be done with UDisc, at least one player per card will be required to keep score. Card requests will be allowed, but final decisions will be at the discretion of the TD.
Top finishers in each division will win MVP Lab Second discs, and the winners of the Gold and Rose divisions will earn free entry into the 2025 Glitch World Championship at Maple Hill. There will also be multiple CTPs for each division (for round 1 only).
For all interested, there will be an optional Glitch-only tag round upon completion of the event. We will play an extended safari layout for Calvert Flyers DGC tags.
Proceeds from this event will go towards supporting and improving the Calvert Road Disc Golf Course. If (by some miracle) we do not hit an ace during either round, the ace pot will go towards this donation.

The 2025 Glitch World Championship Qualifier (GWCQ) series will include the opportunity for players to flex their one-speed game while getting their hands on some brand new hybrid discs from all three MVP brands. Players are free to use any one-speed discs from MVP/Axiom/Streamline during competition.
Every GWCQ MPO and FPO division winner will earn free entry into the 2025 Glitch World Championship to take place at the legendary Maple Hill Disc Golf Course in Massachusetts on Sept. 12th & 13th.
Now YOU have the opportunity to compete against the best Glitch throwers on the planet, on the best course in the galaxy, for a chance to be crowned the best in the world!

The tournament directors reserve the right to make any changes to the format and divisions of the event pending registration interest.
