About this tournament

Grand Opening of Gatewood Disc Golf Park. Don't miss your chance to play in the inaugural tee off for the newest course in Bartow County. This course is located on Allatoona Lake with some beautiful views and opportunities to see and play the lake.

Bartow County Parks & Rec has built the disc golf community a great course to compliment the other two course in Bartow County. This is not a course for the faint of heart. It is a physical course to play with some more difficult holes.

One round of play. You can pick your tee time 9am or 2pm. Sorry you only get to play one round. Course will be closed for the day to allow the tournament to flow with time of play.

Player pack includes a Gatewood logo mini, a flowered ball cap and what I hope you do not need, a deep water disc retriever, the one on a nylon cord you throw out in the water. Gatewood has several holes someone will probably need to use this on.

Trophies will be given out for divisions that have three or more three weeks before tournament.

Bartow County Parking Pass required. $5 for the day or $40 for annual pass. This is not the State pass. This is not the Corp pass that you use for Etowah. This is a different pass you will need to have, the Bartow Parks pass. The check in booth is manned full time. The senior Federal pass is recognized. So it gets you in.

Refund policy

Etowah Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
Following PDGA Best Practices

WE ARE IN THE LAST 14 DAYS. NO REFUNDS YOU GET THE PLAYERS PACK.

If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 50% cash refund OR just the player’s pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping).
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $5 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walk-up entry (if offered). If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 25% cash refund OR just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping).
Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. (This does NOT apply to a waitlist player; see 1.03.B above.)
