This Year we are going to do things differently, One awesome Venue, Four courses catering to all talents and skill levels. Each competition day will see a simultaneous shotgun start on two courses for all Junior, Age Protected Amateur, and MA/FA 2-4 Divisions.

At Noon we will move to Tee Times and open up the unforgiving “Hagley Gold” and a slightly shortened “Amber” layout for Pro, MA1, and FA1 Divisions, creating a unique opportunity to form a gallery and witness the best Disc Golf NZ has on offer.

The event will consist of one Practice day (Thursday) and Three Competition Days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Indicative Daily timings are 830 - 630pm daily subject to change. Monday is an observed public holiday and reserved for event pack down and player travel.

This will be a PDGA A Tier in addition to an NZDG Major.

Lunch will not be provided, however food trucks will be onsite for your convenience.

MPO, MP40, MA1

Hagley Amber - 2781m, Par 68, (average hole length of 154m)
FPO, FP40, MP50, FA1, (MP60, FP50, FP60 - if activated)

MA3-4, FA3-4, FA40-80, FJ6-18, MJ6-12 - Note there is a 90 player total Cap for this course

A total field capacity of 250-260 exists.
Note some minor changes to overall lengths and pars is possible as we laser distances

Entry Fees

Entry for MP and FP divisions is set at $150 per player - these divisions do not receive a players pack, and all prizes are cash. Players may purchase a tournament disc as an optional item.

Entry for all MA and FA divisions is set at $130 per player - These players will receive an included players pack of minimum $200 retail value. Players may purchase additional tournament discs as an optional extra. All prizes will be vouchers or merchandise

Entry for Junior divisions is set at $90 per player - these players will receive an included players pack of minimum $200 retail value. Players may purchase additional tournament discs as an optional extra. All prizes will be vouchers or merchandise. The $40 discount on Am entry will be included as Divisional Value when calculating prize payouts.

Waitlists

All waitlists will be on a per division basis. Spots will be allocated on a one out, one in basis. You may join multiple waitlists but you will not be able to change divisions unless space is available

No division changes will be allowed until after tiered registration is complete and open registration conditions exist.

Registration Dates

Starting from Sept 27, 7pm, registration will open as follows;

Sept 27, 7pm;
Defending Champions from 2025 GCO - NZDG South Island Champs

October 1, 7pm;
All Pro Divisions - NZ Based players
Am and Juniors - NZ Based players, must be either a current NZDG or CDGC member

October 2, 7pm;
All divisions - NZ Based players

October 4, 7pm;

Christchurch Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.

Full refund less PayPal & Disc golf scene fees, and a $5 admin fee will apply until January 15th at 7pm.

50% refund less PayPal & Disc Golf Scene fees, and a $5 admin fee will apply between 7pm Jan 15th, and Feb 1st at 7pm.

Refunds on deposit only entries are as per the deposit t&c.

No further refunds will be entertained from 7pm on Feb 1st.
