ANNOUNCEMENTS
↳ This is a costume-encouraged tournament. Here's the deal:

MULLIGANS (#treats)
Costume Mulligans

↳ Wear a costume to the tournament and you'll get ONE free mulligan to be used on the first 9 holes of the tourney. This mulligan MUST be used on the first 9 holes or it is forfeited. No roll over to the back nine.
↳ Costumes must be legit. For example, football jersey = not a costume. Football jersey and some eyeblack on your cheeks = a costume.
↳ Chief Greenskeeper Morris will be the deciding factor on what constitutes a costume. You're better off putting in even the tiniest effort if you want the free mulligan. Don't argue with the Chief. HE IS THE LAW.

Other Mulligans
↳ For those that don't wear a costume (aka, nerds), we are still gunna hook y'all up....but for a price.
↳ $10 buys you a mulligan for the back nine holes.
↳ Must be purchased during pre-tourney check-in
↳ Available to all registrants

So, you can getchaself up to 2 total mulligans by wearing a costume and buying another for $10.

#TRICKS
↳ We are planning to mess with y'all as much as possible while still keeping the tournament fun, safe, and fair. But best believe --> thou shall be effed with.
↳ Examples: there might be some strange mandos, new/random obstacles, or even 1-stroke penalties that don't typically exist in tourneys, etc. #spooktacular
↳ we'll let y'all know what's up at check-in just prior to start of tourney. Some tricks you'll be informed of, others you'll discover as you play through the course.

↳ If weather is ass, might be inside. I'll update this page day of / have a sign up at DankHouse

Announcements and Start of tourney (shotgun)
↳ 8:00pm - 8:15pm

End of Tourney time
↳ Don't worry about the tap room hours. We will be able to access warmth and bathrooms inside the taproom the entire time. Hopefully we're not here still after the close of the bar / taproom. But if we are, fear not. Inside bathrooms and warmth will be available for the entire duration.


Rounds
↳ 2 (aka, 18 holes on our 9 hole course)

Singles
↳ No teams. (that said, your friend (/lover) can be paired up on same card together but only in groups of 2. This is still singles, but at least you can yuck it up with your bestie. The rest of the card will be randomly assigned.
↳ Let us know during registration if you want to play with someone.
↳ We can work out any issues with this during check-in on tournament day


Buy-in
↳ $20 / person


PAYOUT
↳ 50% of the buy-in cash will become prize money for the top 3 finishers. The 50% pool will then be subdivided as follows: 1st place ≈ 75%, 2nd ≈ 25% minus 20 bucks. Third place gets their registration money back. Which is that $20 i just spoke of.
↳ With a decent turnout, we usually are paying out well over $100 to the winner, and close to that for second place.
↳ Last place finisher will be scolded



Player Pack
↳ yet to be determined. We'll figure something out for ya goons as tournament day approaches. Honestly, the cheap buy-in : high pay-out should be enough for y'all but people always askin for more. well guess what? this may be beggars night but not up in here. NOT UP IN HERE. <3

Ace Fund
↳ Optional
↳ $5 buy-in (cash/card). Please use cash though. Simplifies everything.


Best Costume Competition
↳ winner receives some free beer, etc.
↳ This may be scrapped for time constraints. But remember, a costume gets you a free mulligan on the first nine holes, so still dress up y'all

Dranks
↳ DankHouse beer, water, and pop will be for sale at the check-in tent as well as in the taproom. Dranks will be available throughout the entirety of the tournament and can be taken onto the course. (what other tournament or course allows that ish?


Food
↳ WE HAVE A PERMANENT FOOD TRUCK AGAIN. If you didn't know yet, "Shakedown Streetfood" is our new, permanent food offering at DankHouse. Burgers, dogs, reubens, chicken sandwich, etc. They're delicious. Get here early to eat or place an order from your celly while youre playing in the tournament and the fine food runners will bring it over to us at the tournament check-in location where it will be safe and waiting for you to come grab it when you're on a hole close to us.
