About this tournament
2 rounds of play
UPDATE: EVENT IS NOW OPEN TO ALL PLAYERS MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4, FA1, FA2, FA3, and FA4.
Come on out and support the Juniors. All players will receive players packs. Winners of the above divisions will get to pick a disc from my stash of discs as a thank you for participating.
This is a Junior Qualifier event. Instead of payout, we provide travel assistance for the winners of each division. The four qualifying divisions are:
MP18 / FP18 - PDGA members who are classified as professional and who will be 18 years or younger on Dec 31, 2025 will be eligible to compete at any Future Disc Golf events scheduled in 2025. As Disc Golf Scene will not allow professional players to sign up for a junior division, we will be utilizing the MP18 or FP18 divisions for registrations. The Tournament Director will move you into the appropriate division (MJ18 and FJ18) in PDGA after you have signed up. Ams will earn PDGA points against Ams. Pros will earn PDGA points against pros. Everyone will play together in one division with the winner(s) advancing.
MJ15 / FJ15 - These are pure amateur divisions. If you are a junior and have turned pro, you will be playing in the MP18 or FP18 division.
Added MJ12, FJ12, MJ10 and FJ10. These divisions will not be playing for travel assistance. A separate prize will be awarded to these division winners. Note that the course is not suitable for beginners so if you cannot throw about 100 feet or more, this course may be a challenge. These 4 divisions will play a shorter layout than the older divisions. See attached files for shorter layout.
NOTE: This is a True Amateur event that will not have any payout. It will be a competition to see who the best junior players are regardless of amateur/professional standing.
Player's pack discs have now been revealed: Innova Rollo, Innova Leopard 3, Infinite Nano, Discmania Paradigm, DD Gavel, Millennium Disc TBD, Mint Disc TBD, and Trash Panda Mini.
Other:
+ local items (like CTP prizes)
Event is part of So Cal Series. Fees have been waived for all junior participants.
Entry Fee: $50 (includes lunch and players packs).
All players will play 36 holes.
Optional FDG T-Shirt: $10.
If you know someone that would like to volunteer for the event and purchase a players pack ($40), please have them reach out to me directly by May 13th at the latest.

If there are spots available after May 5th at 7:00 PM, we will open the event up to MA/FA 1-4 divisions. There will be no formal payout for these divisions, but players will get player's packs. I will give winners of other divisions the option to pick a disc from my stash. Money raised will go to support top junior finishers traveling to Maple Hill.
I will be ordering players packs on May 14th to arrive by May 24th.
