About this tournament
The first one was so damn fun we had to run it back! Discathalon 2.0, let's go!
This will be an event that consists of 10 Disc Golf contests, the first 9 being mini games and the tenth being a traditional round of disc golf. There will be points awarded for each game and the the top 3 players (accumulated points) some birdie Bucks to use at off course. This also will serve as an Infinite Discs Mystery Challenge.
Your Players pack includes the following!
•Lunch! (Chips, Hotdogs, Waters, Uncrustables, etc)
•$2 per player in the ace pot.
•Random Putter for Each Player (usually base Plastic)
•Random Driver (mid grade material or better)
•Random Midrange (mid grade material or better)
•Mystery Challenge Mini Marker Disc
(Discs may be from any of the 66 different disc golf brands that infinite sells. No two players will have the same discs for the event.)
The list of Field Events! (Points to be calculated against other players on your card - you will be able to use your full bag for these events.
1.) Upside Down Disc Closest to the Pin - Pts awarded closest to furthest
2.) Drain-O Challenge - Silly Obstructed Putting at varying distances. Pts for each make.
3.) Ace Island - 150Ft throw at cluster of baskets, Pts for each make.
4.) Full Sendy's - Longest Drive with a Mini, no rollers.
5.) Around the Band - LIke around the world in basketball. Pts for consecutive makes
6.) Roller Bullseye! (think Darts but with rollers & varying distances. 3 Attempts, must land in designated lanes.
7.) Tight Grouping - Consistency Wins this one. You get three throws, points are awarded based on close your three discs are to one another.
8.) Over the top - CTP challenge throwing over the baseball backstop
9.) Off Course Throw in - Heavily wooded basket, Throws from C1Edge & beyond.
10.) Regular round of 18 holes. This will be completed with JUST your 3-disc infinite players pack.
Last note, 100% of the funds raised in this tourney will go back into the tourney. More food, more prizes, more fun.
