About this tournament

We are back for another year of Freezing Our Aces Off! As always we will be hucking discs in the cold where every hole is an ace run or potential triple bogey for a great cause.

All proceeds from this event go directly back into the course. Tee pads, Tee signs, baskets, etc are upgraded based on the money we raise and from generous donations.

Format:
2 Rounds of 18 Holes
All Divisions play SHORT Blue Tees both rounds!!!

If you do not see your Division offered, please let me know and I will open it for you.

Player's Packs:
All AMS will have the choice of either a custom 16 OZ etched pilsner style glass or a premium stock stamp disc of their choice from the Lion's Club Selection.

Payouts:
Pro: 100% payback minus PDGA fees ($2) paid out to the top 40% in each division, plus any added cash divided equally amongst all Pro Divisions.
AMS: 1st place trophies for winners in divisions with 2 or more players registered PRIOR TO DEC 25th. Prize bundles (combination of discs, minis, stickers, keychains, disc dots, water bottles, towels, etc) to top 45% in each division.
Juniors will be trophy only (see reduced entry fee) but will still receive a player's pack item, and will have a trophy even if only 1 player is in their division.

Add Ons:
Ace Pot: Every player is entered into the Ace Pot by Registering for the event. We will add $5 to the Ace Pot for each player who registers.
Bounty Hole: The Barn Hole (Hole #5 in previous years) has a current $100 ace bounty on it. Anyone playing in the event can claim this bounty, first player to ace it, takes it all, if you are the second one to ace it... sorry. No cost to enter, everyone who plays the event can win the Bounty.
50/50 Cash CTP's: There will be a 50/50 Cash CTP available for both Pros and Ams. You will have to purchase this. They will be in play both rounds. Winner will get half the pot, the other half will be donated to the course funds.

HOLE SPONSORS
We are trying something new this year to get the community engaged. You may sponsor a Hole for $25. For sponsoring the hole you get a sign with your information, business, or memorial to someone if you wish. In addition, YOU GET TO DESIGN THE HOLE! That's right, for a mere $25 you get to come down to the course and redesign your hole however you want (within legality of PDGA rules). You can try to make it super difficult, you can make it a simple, you can make it gimmicky, the world is yours. Want to add plastic kiddie pools with sand and make them hazards, have at it. Want to put a bunch of Christmas trees blocking the hyzer line, sounds good. Want to make a ridiculous mando and have people curse you, odd flex but ok. How about a dancing car lot inflatable mocking you from the green, maybe a little much but we can get a waiver. With 18 portable baskets, and tons of property, buildings, and elevation, the possibilities are endless. From mild to wild, the choice is yours. Hole sponsorship money will be split in half (half donated to the pro purse, half to the course fund).

Reminder: This is a fundraising "fun" event, but it is still PDGA sanctioned. And while we try to not take ourselves too seriously for this one event, we will still follow PDGA rules.

Refund policy

Crittenden County Lion's Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

100% Refund (Minus Pay-Pal and Discgolfscene processing fees) will be given up until on-line registration closes.

Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. This does NOT apply to a waitlist player; 1.03.B.
