The 2026 Explore Waterloo Region Foxwood Open - Driven by Innova returns! It will once again be an A-tier tournament as approved by the PDGA.
New for 2026, we are very excited that our event will be a Major as part of the Ontario Disc Sports Association Ontario Disc Golf Tour https://ontariodiscgolftour.com/
To qualify, make sure your membership with the ODSA is current for 2026
Returning for 2026, our event is once again a USDGC (2) and Throw Pink (1) Qualifier.
Also returning for 2026, our event is qualifier for the NADGT
Innova Disc Golf and Grand River Disc Golf Club are working together to bring this event to the Waterloo Region. The tournament will showcase the challenging and beautiful Foxwood Disc Golf Course.
All three rounds will be played on the White course.
Pro divisions offered will be MPO, MP40, MP50, FPO, FP40, and FP50. Added this year is MP60
Amateur divisions offered will be MA1, MA2, MA40, MA50, FA1, FA2, FA40, and FA50. Added this year is MA3 and FA3
Professionals will be competing for trophies and cash.
Amateurs will be competing for a trophy for the top finishers in accordance with PDGA Competition Manual 2.06 -https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/206
All AMs will come receive a great player pack and tournament experience.
All divisions will play one round each day, with tee off times starting on the Saturday. The course will be available before the weekend for practice rounds.

Excited to pass a long that the course will see some exciting NEW tee and basket locations on a number of holes for 2026 that will enhance the player experience! A tiny preview, hole 1 will have another tee box in a shorter position! We are currently discussing those upgrades!

Grand River Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
Up to the month before the event, a $10.00 fee will be charged.
Amount PDGA Policy
100% >30 Days Prior the start of the Event
50% >29 Days & ≥15 Days Prior the start of the Event
25% <14 Days & ≥After Registration Closed
0% 48 Hours Prior start of play or After Registration Closed
If the amateur player withdrawing from the event would like their player pack instead of the amount they qualify for from withdrawing. The player must make arrangements to either pick it up. Or have another player grab it for them. Shipping is not offered - Please state at the time of withdrawal your intentions, or cash withdrawal will be applied
As of Thursday May 14th, if you're eligible and have submitted for a refund. That will likely not be processed till after the event is over. Attention at that time turns to getting prepared to run the event. Thank you for your understanding
