About this tournament
2 rounds of play
On Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Forest Hills Disc & Golf Course will play host to the Forest Hill Open, Presented by DGPEI.
This 1-day, 2-round PDGA-sanctioned C-Tier event will continue to highlight our player-first approach to hosting events. With awesome prizes from our 2024 Tour partners, an optional lunch from Lone Oak (+$10 for all divisions), and a fun player social and BBQ at the end of the day to unwind!
Similar to our Glenaladale Tour stop in August, we plan to run this event with a shotgun start format for both rounds, with reseeding between rounds.
This event will also give an extra opportunity to win big with the DGPEI Ace Pot, at an estimated value of $1,450!
MPO, MP40, & MA1 divisions will play both rounds on the Blue layout, all other divisions will play a temporary Hybrid Red layout (now playable on Udisc). The hybrid layout removed a few of the very short Red layout holes, to allow for more scoring separation. The Hybrid layout will now share tees with the Blue layout on holes 3, 10 &13, and will have a temporary Red tee placement on holes 8 & 9.
Registration opened at 8:00 pm on August 6th. In keeping with DGPEI's goals of getting more women and girls in sport, all non-PDGA member fees for female-identifying players will be waived and fully covered by DGPEI in an effort to reduce any barriers to getting involved in disc golf! Where possible, we are trying to keep divisions at a minimum of 3 participants. If you have register in a division that has fewer than this when registration closes, you may be asked to compete in another division.
