What’s going on at Memorial Park? Is the Circus in town? No - it’s the 2024 Fools in the Forest! The GCDGC welcomes you and your partner of choice to a day of 2 rounds of (best shot) disc golf tomfoolery! This will be a special 22 hole format each round with Foolishness added to nearly every hole - including putting with drivers and driving with putters, rollers, special mandos and more! E.g., "Each player must throw
a 6 speed or less off the tee."

This will be an unsanctioned event but we will follow PDGA rules for play. In addition to the opportunity to play the course in this special format, players will receive a players pack including a mini and a Gateway Warspear while also duking it out for divisional trophies! Hold onto that Warspear because there will be a special ace bounty hole for using that disc! With your player registration you will also be automatically entered for multiple divisional CTPs/long putts, ace pot and the bonus Warspear acepot, as well as a special CTP for a disc golf bag (men will be throwing for a Calvin Heimburg Legend 3.0 with cooler by Squatch and women will be throwing for a Catrina Allen Signature Legend 3.0).

There will be four divisions to play from: Advanced (Jesters), Intermediate (Clowns), Novice (Fools), Mixed/Co-Ed (Jokers). As a doubles event, teams should lean towards the division of their higher rated player for divisions. Additionally, the tournament directors have the right to move players up a division if deemed appropriate.
