About this tournament
1 round of play
First Flight: Women’s Intro to Disc Golf Eventsis a welcoming, beginner-friendly event designed to introduce more women to organized disc golf in a supportive, fun, and low-pressure environment. This one-round, non-PDGA “learn & play” event takes place at NAD Park in Bremerton, using red pads to the short baskets to keep the course enjoyable for all skill levels.
Players will be grouped into small cards, and each card will be joined by an experienced female disc golfer who will help answer questions, explain rules, demonstrate etiquette, and offer guidance on how tournaments work. This is the perfect event for brand-new players, casual throwers, women who’ve never played in a tournament before, or anyone looking to build confidence and community.
What to Expect:
- 1 fun, casual round at NAD Park
- Welcoming environment • No PDGA rules stress • No score pressure
- An experienced card mentor on every card
Learn:
- How a tournament works,
- Basic rules & etiquette
- How to keep score
- What to expect at future events
Who Should Attend:
- Women of all ages
- First-timers who have never played a full round
- Casual players who want to try an event
- Women wanting a confidence-boost before joining larger competitions
- Players returning to disc golf after time away
Why Attend: Disc golf grows stronger when women feel supported, welcomed, and included. This event creates a safe space to learn, ask questions, and have fun — with no pressure and no expectations.
