About this tournament
The Festival of Fears Fundraiser Tournament will be a two round, mid afternoon/early evening, possibly even glow, Doubles tournament benefiting our Blue Academy Angel Fund. The Blue Academy Angel Fund helps our families who struggle with basic needs and holiday funding, so this is a tremendous cause that directly impacts our families.
The tournament will be a two round, best shot doubles, tournament, with round one starting at 4:00 pm and round 2 starting 45 minutes after the first round is over. This means there is a potential of a glow round! We will provide glow tape and lights on our baskets to accommodate this.
Player's packs will include disc of choice, as well as plenty of spooktastic refreshments throughout. If you would like to dress up (and we hope that you do) we will have a competition for best costumed team where you will win some disc golf swag!
We will have an acepot that pays 80% out, with 20% going to our fundraiser. We will also have 2 50/50 CTP's (one per each round) where you will choose a cash payout or a disc of choice. These will only be applicable to those who pay in.
You will be able to purchase 2 mulligans per round, which will allow ONE member of each team to throw an extra shot. This will also go straight to our Blue Academy Angel Fund.
Winners will receive a custom trophy for the event, based on division play. There are 6 divisions who will earn a trophy, with each team member earning a trophy.
