About this tournament

Welcome to Southwest Idaho Juniors Disc Golf; Our mission is to grow the sport of disc golf by providing a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where junior athletes can develop their knowledge, build their skills, and discover a lifelong passion for the game, all while limiting or eliminating the financial burden of entry to the sport.
This event is open to Junior players of all skill levels - beginner to pro, age 18 or younger for the entire calendar year.
Players are not required to possess a PDGA number to register and play, though it is encouraged.
Tournament staff can provide information or assist in the process of obtaining a PDGA number during the event.
______Format_____
One (1) 30 minute instructional session.
-Multiple instructional stations will be available and applicable for various skills and skill levels.
-Skills stations will be structured and facilitated by experienced players within the local disc golf community.
One (1) round of disc golf, stroke play, according to PDGA rules.
-A parent / Guardian / Responsible adult MUST accompany players throughout the event; regardless of player age.
Lunch provided to all players and accompanying adult - thanks to our generous sponsors.

_____Player Registration Definitions_____
The following are age protected Juniors division age limitations as defined by PDGA rules. Junior players may play in a division above their designated age, however they may not play below their designated age protected division.
Example: A 12 year old junior player may register and play within the MJ15/FJ15 age protected division. THe same 12 year old junior player may not play in the MJ10/FJ10 age protected division.
MJ18/FJ18 - Male or Female players aged 18 or younger during the entirety of the current calendar year.
MJ15/FJ15 - Male or Female players aged 15 or younger during the entirety of the current calendar year.
MJ12/FJ12 - Male or Female players aged 12 or younger during the entirety of the current calendar year.
MJ10/FJ10 - Male or Female players aged 10 or younger during the entirety of the current calendar year.
MJ08/FJ08 - Male or Female players aged 8 or younger during the entirety of the current calendar year.
MJ06/FJ06 - Male or Female players aged 6 or younger during the entirety of the current calendar year.
