The Florence Disc Golf Association is excited to announce our first-ever "putter party" pop-up tournament at Carolina Bank Field--home of the Florence Flamingos! This event will consist of 9 holes of varying lengths (played through 2x for a total of 18 holes) around the ball park complex. Check out the photos section for a preview of two possible layouts. Players of all skill levels are welcome (you certainly don't have to tee off with a putter on every hole)! Important note about divisions and payments: entry in either the Experienced or Recreational division is $20 (pay cash or PayPal on the day of the event). These two divisions will play for payouts and CTP prizes. The third division, Introductory, is only $10! This low-cost option is intended for newer or even first-time competitors. Scoring is not required in this division. All three divisions will receive automatic entry for the ace pot.

Event participants and the general public are also invited to the ballpark that evening to watch our Florence Flamingos take on the Macon Bacon! Gates open at 6p; game starts at 7p. This ball game will feature a disc "first pitch" from the outfield, disc golf demonstrations, and much more! Tickets are $16 each and include a hat, plus all-you-can-eat food and drink.
