The vision of the Eastern Canadian Amateur National is a centrally located event (Ontario, Quebec, Maritimes, Northern States) where top rated golfers can compete in a longer duration high division presence tournament to determine champions.
Everyone is welcome to register. We will have a staged registration process hoping to accommodate and give ample opportunity for up to 30 divisions to register.
For 2026:
- It is our 20th Anniversary hosting events at Ettyville. We have added more cash and value to the payouts. We will also be bringing some music on site to celebrate the event and occasion together.
-Based on player feedback only 3 divisions will play from the Gold Tee's (MPO, MP40, and MA1).
-Registration numbers will determine the format of play. With 30 divisions available and 240 spots being offered we will need to see where our registration numbers end up in order to determine the official course layouts. Layouts might vary from a Par 72 hole layout (1 round per day) to multiple rounds per day on the existing two Championship layouts. We feel that if registration exceeds 140 players we will have to offer the multiple course layout format. This year being in close proximity to the Provincials in location and time we want to offer as much opportunity for qualification as possible.
- We are very excited that our event will be a Major as part of the Ontario Disc Sports Association Ontario Disc Golf Tour https://ontariodiscgolftour.com/
Pass through fees:
PDGA Per Player Fee: $5
Ettyville Super Spin Green Fee: $50.00 fee covers - practice Thursday and play from Friday to Sunday, Temporary washrooms and wash stations, water, garbage removal, tents/shelter, HST) Note: there will be no Green Fee charges for Junior Divisions. We also like to note that the majority of this fee goes to temporary washrooms, water, and garbage removal as these costs are extremely large for a 4 day event with large numbers.
TD Fee: $0
Ontario Tour Series Fee: $3 (Note: you have to be a current ODSA member before play begins to compete for qualifying for Ontario Provincials.)
Event Budget: For Amateur Division, event registration fee less pass through fee's will be split equally between players pack and merch out/trophies. As an example a $175 registration fee minus $58 pass through fees would result in a budget of $58.50 for Merch Out and Trophies and $58.50 for Players pack.
We will not require 3 players to form a division. Everyone will be allowed to compete in their division regardless of player numbers. Players will still earn Provincial qualifying spots for their desired division when the necessary criteria is met.
Pricing: All the registration prices are inclusive of HST where applicable:

All Junior Divisions $117
Camping: We are offering a limited supply of on-site camping spots at an additional cost. Players are limited to one additional camping registration for a caddy/guardian. Anybody with needs beyond that are to contact the tournament director to make arrangements. Cost is $45 per person tax included. No pets allowed.

Division Caps: We have division caps in place until April 12 at which time waitlists will be processed in order. Players are encouraged to register into the waitlist for their intended division whenever offered before April 12. We will be promoting waitlist players before we entertain any division changes so if you register in the wrong division you may end up staying there. Based on recent attendance you should be promoted into the event once the division caps are removed. We will maintain a Pro / AM Division Cap until May 1st to enhance equal opportunity access to the event for a slightly extended amount of time.
Waitlist: Players will be asked for full event payment. Once we removed the division caps, we expect to promote many waitlisted players into the event. Once the registration has settled, we will 100% refund any players not in the event and offer amended waitlist options.
Schedule of play: This will be confirmed once we know the actual event registration numbers.
Pre-registration: Pre-registration is offered to a limited number of active Ettyville Super Spin Disc Golf Club members per PDGA guidelines and a 48 hour underserviced division category.
Prizes/Trophies/Players Pack: Being a championship and Amateur A-tier we will try for a event branded clothing item in the players pack, a strong focus on Trophies because of the championship nature. Traditionally we add significant value to the amateur side of the event but we are unable to make a final actual $ amount at registration time as our budget for this develops leading up to the event but please appreciate there is always value added on the amateur side as well.
