Tip of the Mitt Disc golf club is hosting the third annual Tip of the Mitt Open on May 28th and 29th at Blissfest Disc Golf Course in Harbor Springs. Last year at about this time our Lions Club began work on building a disc golf course. Fortunately I had been given the name of Todd Lewis, certainly one of the most dedicated if not the very most dedicated person in northern Michigan at helping others with disc golf in any fashion, whether it be building courses or running tournaments. Todd helped with every facet of building our course including the course design, initial clearing, selecting baskets, tee pads, and signage for the course. Every time I ran into a problem Todd was there with the solution. When it was time for our Grand Opening, Todd scheduled a tournament and ran it to get our course the exposure a new course needs. Players of all levels seem to love our course.

Todd is held in high regard by his peers and goes out of his way to promote disc golf. Were we to build another disc golf course, I assure you Todd Lewis would be my right hand man.
