Welcome to the 3rd Annual Memorial Day Flex.
This year this will be a PDGA sanctioned C tier!

The Flex Start will run from 9am to 3pm.

This year we are doing something a little different.
We will be using County Line Disc Golf Course in Chesnee, SC

This is a unique format that is a little different but a fun way to play a round.

Double Disc is a format that was first introduced at The Glass Blown Open for Flex Starts and is still used for the Dynamic Discs Open now. Due to the amount of 9 hole disc golf courses and the requirement to play 13 holes to play a round, how do we make this work?
Well this format was developed to give you 18 holes within the 9 hole loop. So on every tee you get 2 tee shots. You play both tee shots and get 2 scores for that one hole but you played 2 holes at once.

So for example on hole 1, I throw 2 shots. One is parked and one I am off the fairway and have to scramble. I get up to the basket and take a 2 from one drive and a 4 on the other. I get a 2 on 1a and a 4 on 1b.

So you end up playing 18 holes while only going through the course once.

So are you ready to take on Double Disc Memorial Style?

Layout will be as Follows:
Hole 1 short: 250 feet
Hole 2 short: 170 feet
Hole 3 long: 256 feet
Hole 4 short: 286 feet
Hole 5 short: 220 feet
Hole 6 short: 170 feet
Hole 7 short: 220 feet
Hole 8 short: 175 feet
Hole 9 short: 266 feet

This event will be $25 to play
$20 to payout
$2 to PDGA
$3 to other supplies and prizes

Pros will pay out 40% following PDGA guidelines
Ams will pay out 45% following PDGA guidelines

All Am payouts will be through Gift Cards to Another Round Disc Golf out of Charlotte, NC

With optional
$5 Ace Pot
$5 Cash CTPs
CTPs will be holes 2,8 and 9

We will have 3 set up for the Ace Throw off that you will throw at the end just in case the Ace isn't hit. If an Ace is hit there will still be a prize for the 2 closest players!
