About this tournament

The Discs United Open (DUO) is a PDGA sanctioned charity event aiming to bring together disc golfers and ultimate enthusiasts...because we could all use more discs in our lives! In fact, this event is happening alongside USA Ultimate’s west coast National Team Tryouts; make sure to respectfully check out the action on the neighboring soccer fields.

Register today to play this exciting adventure course in Santa Clarita’s Central Park! Using several of the course’s back 9 pin placements plus some fun new ones, this course will be a fun challenge for all skill levels. Day 1 will feature a one-round doubles tourney for youth, amateurs, novices, AND ultimate players (who love their Ultra Stars but might just learn to like a Buzz by day’s end). Mixed doubles will also go out in the morning will intermediate and advanced double will go out in the afternoon. Day 2 - dgscene.com/duo-solo - is a proper two-round singles tourney with various skill divisions.

50% of DUO’s registration fees will support a young 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing ultimate across our state, California Ultimate Association. CUA’s programs this year include: teaching over 700 Fresno students the sport of ultimate and the Spirit Of The Game, running a series of wheelchair ultimate clinics in partnership with UCLA, and providing more media coverage of youth, college, and club competition.

Sign up today and tell a friend! Play in one tournament, or play in both; it all goes to a good cause! See you in Santa Clarita!
