Players are respondsible for theirown parking fees. $5 non-Ingham county resident, $3 Ingham county resident.

We will be hosting a Disc Golf clinic with Discrafts own Reid Frescura and Vanessa VanDyken on Friday July 17th 6:30-7:30pm at Burchfield Park. The cost will be $25 a person paid directly to the players to help them on their tour this season. The clinic comes with a disc of your choice from Reid and Vanessa’s stash of plastic as well as 30 mins with each pro to help iron out your game. This is available to everyone you don’t not have to be playing the March Mush Makeup to attend.

MDGO Feature Event for the Discraft Michigan State Championships. There will be 18 berths in total.

This will be 2 rounds of 24 holes. With Rivers Edge being flooded recently we will utilize holes 1-6 on rivers edge mixed in with all 18 holes on Renegades Trail. The course will flow as follows. Play hole 1 on Renegades Trail then walk down towards the pavilion and play holes 1-6 on Rivers Edge. After completing hole 6 Rivers Edge you cross the dirt path to hole 2 Renegades Trail. There will be signs up to help direct everyone correctly.

Layout:
Pool A: MPO, FPO, Am1, Am2, MP40
Pool B: Am3, Women’s Am, Am Masters, Am4 and juniors

Pool A: Short Pad- Long Basket on Renegades Trail except hole 17. Hole 17 long pad island basket.
Pool B: Short Pad- Short Basket. Hole 17 Short pad island basket.

OBs will be marked accordingly with spray paint.

EDITAll amateur payouts will be handled by pre-packed payout. Due to unseen circumstances that are out of Great Lakes disc control we will be having to change pay out system. If this is an issues please feel free to request a refund from the event.

All Ams will receive one March Mush Stamp disc that will be handed to them at check in. Pick the mold and one of the Tournament staff will give you the disc.
We will be practicing all CDC guidelines for large gatherings. There will be an online player meeting available to watch via YouTube.
Selling of Disc Golf related item is strictly forbidden and will result in disqualification from tournament. You have been warned.

To help address the sandbagging issues at the Michigan State Championships;
a. For the Am2/Am3 (including the women) divisions in Featured Events, if there is a player that takes 1st or 2nd place and that player has never had a PDGA membership the Featured Event will deduct from that player’s payouts $35 to cover the cost of buying them a PDGA membership.
b. The remaining $10 was initially paid by the player at entry.
c. The last missing $5 is because the MDGO is an Affiliate Club.
d. Non-current PDGA members do not apply.


This was passed to address the issue of players not having player ratings. Even if they are not current, the TD does get a file from the PDGA that includes the player's rating.
