Friends of Wilmington Parks is pleased to announce the first Disco Inferno Disc Golf Tournament in Brandywine Park. Disc Golf enthusiasts can try their hand at an 18-hole pop up course that begins in Abessinio Stadium and winds through Brandywine Park. The tournament will include disc golf games, an awards party, food trucks and beer sales in addition to a day of competitive play. It will be a day of fun for about 100 golfers and their families. Golfers will get a chance to play on a course never seen before, with opening holes beginning in the Stadium itself. Tournament play will be divided into 5 divisions, Beginner, Recreational, and Amateur, Advanced and Pro. Each player receives a complimentary giftbag and there is a $100 Ace Pot Prize on the line. There will also be prize packages for the tournament winners and runner-up's.
