About this tournament

What:
• Disc Golf World's Watch Party and Putting Tournament
When:
• August 3rd
• 9am to 3pm
Location:
• VFW Post 6027 Hall
• 815 Turkey Point Rd, North East, MD 21901
Format:
• Singles
• Pool play to Bracket Play
• 2 Brackets
• Winners bracket
• Consolidation bracket
Setup/Layout
• 4 baskets to support 2 matches at a time.
• Once in bracket play each set is dedicated to a specific bracket.
• 15 points for pool play, 21 in bracket play
Pool play to bracket play example:
Let’s say you have 24 players.
• Create 4 pools of 6 players, random draw with online randomizer
• Each player plays 5 games (one vs each person in their pool).
• Top 2 players from each pool advance to the Championship Bracket (A Pool).
• The next 2 go into the Consolation Bracket (B Pool).
• Remaining players are eliminated
• Will adjust based on player sign-ups
• Both brackets run single elimination until a winner is crowned
• I may switch to double elimination for the Bracket play based on how quickly Pool play goes
Payouts:
Custom trophy for 1st place in each Bracket
Payouts to top 3 in each Bracket
Payout Example: 20 player = $400 Prize Pool
• Will adjust based on play sign-ups

• 42.5% ($170)
• 20% ($80)
• 10% ($40)
B Pool
• 15% ($60)
• 10% ($40)
• 2.5% ($10)
Watch Party Info:
• We will be streaming live and recorded coverage of Disc Golf Worlds Final day. Come out and watch your favorite players.

• Taking place in Finland this year, time difference is 7hrs so we should be able to catch the end of live coverage
Food and Drink:
• The VFW Canteen opens at 1300; food and drink available for purchase. (Cash only, ATM on-site)
• CCDG will provide coffee and donuts or other lights snacks for the morning piece.
• Bartender in Hall (drinks only) from 0900-1300, then all purchases (food/drink) can be made in the Canteen.
