About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Disc-Functional Doubles is a one-day, two-round doubles tournament at WoodWind Park featuring a split format that challenges both strategy and execution.
Teams will compete in stroke play across two different formats, starting with worst shot doubles and finishing with best shot doubles.
FORMAT
Round 1 – Worst Shot Doubles (Rookie Ridge – 9 Holes)
Both players throw from each lie. The other team on the card selects which lie the team must play from. This continues until the hole is completed.
Only one player is required to complete the hole. Once a disc is in the basket, the hole is finished. Moral of the story... an Ace COUNTS!
Round 2 – Best Shot Doubles (19 Holes)
Both players throw from each lie. The team selects the best shot and plays from that position until the hole is completed.
