About this tournament
This is the kickoff tournament for the 2025 Dirty Ace Bag Tags!
You must be a member of
https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Newton_County_Disc_Golf_Club_Club_Membership_2025
or https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Henry_County_Disc_Golf_Club_Club_Membership_2025
to participate in the Dirty Ace Bag Tag League.
The $10 entry fee in this event will cover the tags and the rest will go towards payouts for the season finale in December date TBD.
We will run 4 sanctioned leagues throughout 2025 at various courses each consisting of 8 weeks. Every division will play the same tee pads at each event. We will be using a handicap system to even the playing field a little. There is a chart below that covers the handicaps.
So, if you are doing the math that is 32 sanctioned tag events. To compete in the finale in December you will need to compete in at least 10 sanctioned rounds throughout the 2025 season.
The charge for each sanctioned round will be $2 per round which will cover the .50 cents per round that goes to the PDGA and the $25 per sanctioned league fee that PDGA charges everything else will go to payouts in the finale.
Your Bag Tag number at the start of the finale will be your tag number for the 2025 season and the top 3 will get a trophy and the last place tag will get a trophy!
The finale will be a little different…. The top tags will pair up with the lower tags in an 18 hole best shot doubles tournament to distribute the cash raised during the 2025 season.
The handicap system is below.
950 and up +3
925-949 +2
900-924 +1
875-899 =
850-874 -1
825-849 -2
800-824 -3
799 and below -5
If you cannot prove your ratiing you will start out even at 875+ then will be adjusted after first sanctioned round at league.
There will be a lady's division of tags with their own Bag Tags that will have a similar format.
