    Tournament Day

    - Player Check-in will start at 8am at Tournament Central near Tee area 1. Last card will go out shortly after 2pm.

    - This will be a FLEX Start event and be comprised of two (2) complete rounds around the 11-hole course. We will use the standard "Two Rounds with Maps" layout on UDisc, where players will keep score for themselves and their cardmates. If needed, a paper scorecard will be available - each paper scorecard must track the scores of EVERY player on the card separately.

    - Players can start anytime between 8am - 2pm following check-in at our table at Tee Box 1. At least three (3) players are needed per card, and preferably no more than five (5) players to keep pace of play moving. The TD can make special accommodations, if needed.

    - Players Pack for all Amateur divisions will be provided at check-in for those who registered and paid no later than midnight on 12 September 2025. (These are complete.)

    - For those registering and paying after 12 September 2025, the registration has been reduced to the no-player-pack fee, and players will be responsible for ensuring they have at least one Dillo for use in the event. There will be a few Dillos available for purchase at the event.

The Dillo World Championships & Qualifiers are non-PDGA sanctioned disc golf events designed to have fun and showcase Lone Star Disc’s only 1-speed disc, The Armadillo (1/2/0/1), nicknamed the "Dillo". Anyone of any skill level can play. These qualifier events will be held August - October at different locations across the country. This is a qualifier event!

The Dillo World Championships will be held @ the Flying Armadillo in San Marcos on January 17th 2026. To qualify for the Dillo World Championships you must:
- Win your division with 3 players or more to win an invite; or
- Place at least 2nd with 7 players or more to gain an invite; or
- Place at least 3rd with 10 or more players to gain an invite.

Rules – You MUST play with Dillo’s only (Drives, upshots, putts) in any plastic. Super Dillos are also acceptable. Players will follow PDGA rules. There will be some available for purchase at the table at Tee Box 1 in limited quantities, and those who register before midnight, 12 September 2025, will have a players pack waiting for them upon check-in with two Dillos included.

Players pack (2 Discs & 1 Marker Disc) – Each player will receive a V1-plastic Armadillo and an Alpha-plastic Armadillo.
Victor 1 (V1) is a soft and ultra-tacky plastic famous for its ability to grab chains, limit ground play, and float in water. V1 is widely considered to be our softest plastic blend. Alpha is a durable, smooth, high-quality blend that is slick and firm.
- All those registered by 12 September 2025 will receive their players pack upon check-in.
- Accommodations will be made for those registering after 12 September 2025 to receive their players pack.

Because Lone Star Disc is encouraging the player pack through its awesome value (~$35 per pack) but I understand if you already have an awesome set to use that you're comfortable with, I'm offering a PERSONAL discount code of $10 for those who don't want the player pack but want to compete - Code: NOPACK.

Trophy Discs – A Rare Founder’s Dillo with a special Qualifier stamp. Every player that wins a division of 10 or more can win one. The TD will make arrangements for winners of these discs to receive theirs.

Divisions offered – RPA Gold 970+ rated, is a Professional division.
All the others – are Amateur divisions – RAH Blue less than <970 rated
RAD White less than <935 rated
RAE Red less than <900 rated
RAF Green less than <850 rated
RAG Purple less than <800 rated.
Players may always play up.

This event will use UDisc to facilitate scoring or use paper scorecards. One player can update the full card if they are also in UDisc. Those without UDisc will need to use a paper scorecard and keep track of ALL players on the card. (TD Note: We HIGHLY recommend downloading UDisc from the App Store, if possible.)

Refund policy

John "Stamm I Am" Stammreich is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
THERE WILL BE A NON-REFUNDABLE $5 FEE FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS

Cancellations will be refunded minus the $5 cancellation fee up until 5 days before the tournament begins. Refunds within 5 days of tournament date will ONLY be granted if that spot is filled before the tournament begins, either by a waitlist player or new entry.
