PLAY THE MEMORIAL LAYOUT UNDER TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS!
Get a head start on the 2027 Memorial Championship! Metropolis DGC invites you to compete at Fountain Hills on the same layout that will be used for the Memorial A-Tier the first weekend in February.
Put your shot selection to the test, learn where to attack and where to play smart, and see how your course strategy holds up when every throw counts. You’ll leave with tournament experience on the layout and time to fine-tune your game before the Memorial.
Not playing the Memorial? Join us for a weekend of competition on the beautiful grass fairways of Fountain Hills, with Pro and Amateur divisions, an amateur player pack to look forward to, and $750 added to the Pro purse.
AMATEUR PLAYER PACK
If you loved last year’s shirt, wait until you see this year’s collared polo! A fresh design and color scheme lead a player pack that includes:
A collared polo featuring this year’s design-SIGN UP BY NOVEMBER 26TH TO GUARANTEE YOUR SIZE
A hat featuring a decorative patch
An Innova disc featuring tournament artwork
A $5 coupon to Disc Golf HQ
A $5 coupon to Over The Top Disc Golf
A new look for your next round, a tournament disc for your bag or collection, and savings at two disc golf shops—all included for amateur players.
DIVISIONS AND TEE TIMES
We are offering both Pro and Amateur divisions, with scheduled tee times on Saturday and Sunday. Amateurs are expected to tee off in the morning, followed by pros in the afternoon. This order may change depending on registration numbers.
Register today and put your game to the test on the Memorial layout!
EARLY AMATEUR PLAYER PACK PICKUP
Stop by the course on Friday, December 18, from 10 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. to pick up your player pack. Friday pickup is optional. If you cannot make it, you may collect your pack before or after your Saturday round.
PLAYER CHECK IN ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
This event will use the five-minute starter check-in procedure in PDGA Competition Manual 1.04.E. Check in with the starter at least five minutes before your tee time each day and remain in the designated starting area during those five minutes.
Failure to meet this requirement results in two penalty throws on your starting hole. If you are absent when it is your turn to start, the applicable misplay penalty applies instead. Allow enough time to park, warm up, and reach the starter.
RAFFLE
We are planning a raffle featuring discs and shirts. Tickets are $5 each or six for $20 and will be sold at the course on Saturday, with possible Friday sales during early player pack pickup. Winners will be drawn Saturday night, and prizes will be available Sunday. Cash and most electronic payments are accepted; credit cards are not.
PARKING AND WARM UP
Parking is available in the lots on the north side of El Lago Boulevard, just east of Saguaro Boulevard; along the north side of El Lago toward Panorama Drive; and in the lot on Panorama just north of El Lago. The park can be busy, so allow extra time, especially for later tee times.
A warm-up net and two practice baskets will be available near tee 1. Space for throwing along El Lago is limited. For longer warm-up throws, consider Desert Vista Park near Desert Vista and Saguaro Boulevard.
PACE OF PLAY
Help your group keep moving by watching one another’s throws, particularly near water and mandatory routes. Pay attention to where discs cross out-of-bounds lines or miss a mandatory. We expect to have some spotters, but we will not have coverage on every hole.
Discs thrown into the water must be left until the rounds are over. The only exception is a floating disc that can be retrieved immediately without delaying play. Bring extra discs so a lost disc does not interrupt your round.
PASS THROUGH FEES
The entry fee includes these per-player pass-through fees:
$4 PDGA B-Tier player fee
$15 course rental fee, based on 100 registered players
$4 tournament director fee
WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS
Withdrawals and refunds will follow PDGA Competition Manual 1.03. Submit an official withdrawal directly to the Tournament Director using the contact information on this event page. Refund eligibility depends on when you withdraw and, where applicable, whether your spot is filled by an eligible waitlisted player. A handling fee of up to $10 may apply.
Registration and waitlist replacements close December 14 at 12:00 a.m. Arizona time. Please review the complete PDGA policy before registering:
