About this tournament

Welcome to The Desert Crown—the final stop of the 2026 Open Terrain Series.
Whether this is your first Open Terrain event or you've been battling for points all season, we're excited to have you out for one last weekend of competition, good company, and some great Arizona disc golf to close out the year.
For the finale, we're mixing things up with two rounds on two courses, giving players the best challenge the West Valley has to offer. In Round One, you'll take on the desert golf of Sundance Park before finishing the weekend on our home course, Sarah Ann Ranch, for Round Two.
If you're just here for a fun weekend of competitive disc golf, we've got you covered. The Desert Crown is still a standalone PDGA-sanctioned event, complete with a great player pack and trophies for the winners. But if you're chasing the Open Terrain Series, this is your final opportunity to earn points, climb the leaderboard, and make one last push to claim The Desert Crown as the 2026 Open Terrain Series Champion.
Two Courses. Two Rounds. Multiple Winners. One Desert Crown.
Let's finish the season the same way we started it—having fun, building community, and enjoying some of the best desert disc golf Arizona has to offer.
