About this tournament

DGVTour #4 - Quarries Throwdown + WGE
May 23-34,2026
Quarries DGC
Websterville,Vermont
PDGA B-tier ( $750 added cash to Pro divisions)

2 Rounds of 18 holes, 1 round per day/tee times.
TD: Chris Young

Women's Global: This is a Women's Global Event. The first 20 female competitors to sign up will receive a WGE pin! All female competitors will compete in the Global standings. Vermont Federal Credit Union will be doing a Women only disc giveaway.

Lunch: John with Full Flight subs is injured and no longer can make it plan accordingly.

Vermont Federal Credit Union will be on site supporting the event with some giveaways and talking with players - make sure to stop by and say hello!

DGVT members will earn points at each of the 12 DGVTour events played. Players who qualify will be eligible for a share of the $2,000 in cash and prizes at the end of the Tour and a chance to compete for a 2026 DGVTour title and trophy. For more information visit discgolfvermont.com and click on the DGVTour, Charter and Membership pages.

Tournament Central: Garage area. This is where you will check in before and after your rounds.

Players Meeting: The week of the event an email will be sent out to all players.

Awards: As divisions finish we will give out trophies to division champs once all scores in that divisions have been finalized and received.

Trophies: I need to order trophies at least 3-4 weeks in advance of the event so as of May 6th when I order trophies - only divisions of 3 or more players registered will receive a 1st place custom trophy. We plan to have some local granite sourced and incorporated into the trophys this year!

Pro Payouts: We will payout 40% of the Pro divisions. Payouts will be issued via Paypal within 48 hours of completion of the event. Players MUST be PDGA member to except cash.

Amateur Payouts: We will payout 45% of the Amateur divisions. Payouts will be posted and a DGVT merchandise voucher will be filed in our system for those players. All amateur divisions play for merchandise credit to the DGVT Pro Shop. Credit must be redeemed by Dec. 31,2026. Pro shop will be onsite. Credit cannot be used online and we do not ship, so plan to use your credit onsite or at a 2026 DGVTour event you attend. Payouts will be posted here on the event dgscene page within 48 hours of completion of the tournament ( look in the Results section).

Amateur Players Pack : PDGA rules state that for B-tier events a minimum of $10 player pack to be given to all amateur players. We aim to keep B-tier player packs between $10-15 and put more of the players registration funds into payouts as opposed to larger player packs. For this event all amateurs will receive a custom Quarries glass bag tag from Pyrohyzer ( $10 value).

Amateur CTP's: We will have several gift cards to the The Mad Taco for Am's! Make sure to look for what hole #'s at Check-In

Tour acepot: Only 1 acepot this year and it is optional. $5/player and you can buy in when you register. If no aces then the Tour acepot rolls over to the next DGVTour event. Current acepot is at $290 as of 5/21.

EDGE: $2 from each players registration goes to the Vermont EDGE Program. This program will enable DGVT to work with local schools and communities to build new courses and get discs in the hands of our youth.

DGVTour fee: $4 from each players registration goes to the Tour to help us with an array of items such as Tour trophies, end of the season payouts, sanctioning fees, park fees, supplies, porta pottys and much more.

PDGA Per Player Fee: The PDGA collects a fee of $4/player at all B-tiers.

Playoffs: In the event of a playoff for 1st place, players will play the course in order starting at hole #1 and format is sudden death. First player to win a hole with a lower score wins the playoff.

Tee Times (both days): Tee times will be posted Thursday, May 21st in the evening for Saturdays round ( pdga.com). After all players are off the course Saturday we will work as fast as we can to get tee times posted for Sundays round. Our hope is to have those posted before 8pm Saturday night. Again, visit pdga.com, go to events and find our event on the list and that is where you will find your tee time. ALL players are expected to arrive approx. 30 minutes before the posted tee time to check in and get setup with scoring. When arriving for your tee time, please go directly to the DGVT trailer( which will be setup near hole #1 in the side parking lot.) and check in. Players need to start at the listed tee time so that we do not create backups throughout the day, so PLEASE be prompt as tee times will start at exact times listed.. We will be keeping an eye on this and assisting where and if needed. If you are running late for your tee time there is nothing that we can do.

Juniors:
Juniors must be accompanied by an adult per PDGA guidelines: https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/113

Tee Assignments: ( Both rounds):

Short Tees(White tees): MA3,FA3,FA2,FA40,FA50,FP40,FA1,MA70,FJ08,FJ12.

Long Tees(Blue tees): MPO,FPO,MP40,MP50,MP60,MA1,MA40,MA50,MA60,MA2.

Course Out of Bounds: All quarry's. You might find a large puddle on the course in which case that is casual water and a player may take relief in line with the target straight back from the casual water with no penalty. Hole #15 you will see OB flags lining the left side of the fairway, if you find yourself in that area you take a 1 stroke penalty and play 1 meter in from the OB line where the disc crossed into OB. You will also see an OB area near the basket of #15. Where the pin flags end the ob line continues in a straight line from the last 2 pin flags. This area will also be flagged and you will take 1 meter from the OB line where it crossed and a 1 stroke penalty. On hole #5 there are a few shelves that you could potentially land on and are not safe to play from. If you find yourself on one of these you will get a free drop from the white tees with no penalty.

This is a public park and a shared space for all park users. ALWAYS yield to other park users, make sure the hole is clear to throw safely and talk to other park users in a friendly manner if necessary. We have reserved the disc golf course but not the entire park.

PDGA Live Scoring: This is how each group will keep score. All players need to click on the link below to become familiar with PDGA Live Scoring. Download the ap " PDGA Live" on your personal device and be prepared ahead of time.
https://www.pdga.com/help/tournament-management/official-hole-scoring . ALL PLAYERS MUST KEEP SCORE. We will have paper cards available but we recommend using PDGA Live scoring. Each player is responsible for submitting a scorecard or they will be penalized. If you submit your scorecard and your score is in correct you will be penalized - so make sure your score is correct. Please refer to rule 808 for the updated 2024 Scoring policy here...

NO 2 METER RULE. ALL PDGA rules apply.

NO Division changes after registration closes. NO refunds after registration closes.

HUGE thank you to Guy Norwood and any volunteers for all the hard work to get the course ready for the event and to our 2026 DGVTour sponsors!
