Cougar Lake DGC and The Disc Golf Dojo are excited to bring you the first ever Cougar Lake Open!!
This is a shotgun start, 2 round, 1 day event! This course is long and 2 rounds in a day is a true test of endurance and skill. Do you have what it takes to be crowned Champion of Cougar Lake!
Am players will get a player pack including their choice from a selection of premium Innova Discs, set of Nish Grip bags, and custom event sticker!

We are working to generate sponsors to add to payout for pros, so stay tuned and tell your local businesses that their support can go a long way! Hole Sponsorships are available for $30 and go directly into the payout for the event! Let us know if you'd like to sponsor a hole for yourself or business.
Practice Rounds
Cougar Lake is open every weekend free of charge! There are Saturday morning minis at 10am. The course will be open the week prior to the event for practice rounds starting Wednesday, May 17th.
Schedule
Yes, you read it right, we are playing 2 rounds in 1 day on this championship level course! Groups will be limited to 4 per card, capping our field at 72 players. We will start early and finish late so prepare for a long day! Water will be on the course and free at tournament central. We will also have gatorades, snacks, and other food items for sale a the course.
8am - Mandatory Players Meeting
8:30am - Round 1 Start
1.5 hour lunch break
Round 2 will start after lunch. The official time will be shared on PDGA, Facebook, and available at tournament central. We estimate round 2 starting between 1:30-2:30pm.
Entry Fee Breakdown
This is a payout heavy event that will pay the top 40% of pro divisions and top 45% of am divisions. All sponsored funds will be added evenly across divisions on a per player basis. MA3, MA4, FA3, FA4, and Junior divisions will be trophy only with no payout.

We are working to have lunch options at the course for the event. This includes potential food trucks or the excellent quality of Goodner BBQ! If you know of anyone in the area that would be willing to service the event with a food truck or otherwise please let me know.
